Second mission. Same ambition. The @Amazonleo satellites for our next mission, VA268, have now arrived at Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, marking a new step in the deployment of the Amazon Leo constellation. In the coming weeks, Arianespace will begin the launch campaign, from satellite processing to integration on Ariane 6, preparing these payloads for their journey to low Earth orbit. The VA268 mission, designated LE-02 by Amazon, will fly on Ariane 6 in its four-booster configuration, a powerful setup particularly adapted to support the sustained deployment of large constellations. This mission is the second of 18 launches planned under our contract with Amazon, reflecting a long-term partnership built on performance, reliability and shared ambition to expand global connectivity from space. Dans sa configuration à 4 propulseurs d’appoint, Ariane 64 fait plus que doubler les performances de la version à 2 propulseurs. Chaque P120C est l’un des moteurs à propergol solide monobloc les plus puissants jamais produits sur Terre. En en ajoutant quatre, Ariane 6 change clairement de catégorie. 🔹 2 propulseurs : ~10,3 tonnes en orbite basse 🔹 4 propulseurs : ~21,6 tonnes en orbite basse Ce vol n’est pas qu’un lancement : c’est une démonstration à pleine puissance de quatre propulseurs ultra-puissants fonctionnant de manière synchronisée avec l’étage central, ouvrant l’accès à une nouvelle classe de capacités pour #Ariane6. 🚀 Go #VA267, go !

In its 4-booster set-up, Ariane-64 more than doubles the performance of the 2-booster version. Each P120C is one of the most powerful single-piece solid rocket motors in production anywhere on Earth. Strap on four of them, and Ariane 6 moves into a different league. 2 boosters brings ~10.3 tonnes to low Earth orbit. 4 boosters brings ~21.6 tonnes to LEO.
