As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I've had my faith relentlessly attacked, undermined, and slandered my entire life. I've seen all the common arguments and points, outright lies, ridiculous theories, and propaganda.
It's been both frustrating and enlightening. I've been forced to study and understand my religion. I've had to draw closer to Jesus Christ as I've sought out truth. I try to follow the counsel given in Doctrine and Covenants 88:118:
And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.
Which brings me to my questions; those who intentionally are critical and seek to undercut the faith of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Why? What drives you? Why would you intentionally destroy someone's sincere faith?
I'm not looking for generic answers like "It's a false religion" or "Because you follow a different Jesus". Those are cop-out cookie-cutter answers that don't stand up to any serious scrutiny. I'm trying to figure out why the broader mainstream Christian world feels like it's okay to collectively dunk on a religion.

Creedalists do worship a Jesus Christ.
It's just not the Jesus Christ revealed in the Bible. It is a Jesus Christ that was invented by councils of men and who is not like the one in the Bible.
Thus, they are not Biblical Christians.

@Saphia If I don't have a distraction for my brain my mind goes very dark, focusing on everything going wrong in my life and extrapolating where my life will lead. At best I have emotional breakdowns, at worst considering if ending it would be all that bad.

I am a Latter-day Saint and a Christian. But theological debates aside, the government should not be in the business of deciding who counts as Christian.
Latter-day Saints and Christians of every tradition are united by our common commitment to the teachings of Christ, and we are stronger in that shared purpose.

Last week, a proposed list of simplified faith codes was released to the media. The Pentagon list included redundant and unnecessary labeling, and the mistake has been fixed. The goal of this effort is to simplify a previously out-of-control “belief” coding system that had ballooned to over 200 codes. In order to clarify the work of chaplains, and simplify the work of commanders, the Pentagon has consolidated and simplified the list to roughly thirty codes — using the previously used labels for faiths. The Pentagon’s job is not to adjudicate theological debates, but instead to ensure sincerely-held faith is respected and encouraged in our ranks.
