2 quality-of-life improvements for developers working with Codex today: Codex background agents now have stable pixel identicons. When the same agent shows up across tabs, mentions, transcripts, and the thread panel, it’s easier to recognize at a glance.

Small QoL improvement in today’s Codex App update: you can now search through all prior chat content to find past threads!✨

Codex just got a lot more powerful. Computer use, in-app browser, image generation and editing, 90+ new plugins to connect to everything, multi-terminal, SSH into devboxes, thread automations, rich document editing. Learns from experience and proactively suggestions work. And a ton more.

I spent the last ~2 weeks recreating the @thinkymachines LoRA without Regret experiments from scratch. SFT: Qwen3-4B on No Robots dataset RL: Qwen3-1.7B on MATH dataset so cool to see rank 1 LoRA matching the performance of full finetuning! 🤯
