The Netflix series LEGENDS is the best thing I’ve watched on streaming in a long, long time. Already mourning the end as I make my way toward the final episode.

@daddyYo2539 There is another such story the year Obama was keynote at the Democratic National Convention. That time the card was declined when he tried renting a car at the airport.

Before leaving, Obama joked with the server: “I won’t tell anyone you spilled tea on me if you don’t tell anyone my card was declined.” Everyone laughed and took a group photo outside. The story spread among the staff, and Obama himself later mentioned the declined card in an interview. So yes — even Presidents get humbled by a POS machine. And yes — he still paid. Thanks for reading. If you want more threads like this , follow for the next one.

There’s a hilarious story about President Obama’s visit to Estela, a restaurant in NYC — and the staff who were there still talk about it till today. Obama and Michelle came in for dinner, calm and friendly. Meanwhile, Secret Service quietly positioned themselves around the...

Until we talk about NATO (Lemnitzer) and their secret armies and the attempt on JFK in Paris, the presence of the Operation Gladio operatives in Dallas that day, Dulles’s life long relationship with Georgie…I find the rest of the JFK conversations tedious.

Oliver and Zach wrote the screenplay via the Jim Garrison investigation which was centered on the ground level of CIA involvement in New Orleans. Ferrie, Shaw, Russo, Banister, Thornley, Martin, etc. Col. L. Fletcher Prouty (Donald Sutherland) then comes in to lay out the post-war history of CIA and the rise of the military industrial complex. Just this info/story puts the film at 3+ hours long. I personally don’t think the Israelis played a crucial role in the assassination and neither did Garrison at the time. Stone doesn’t believe they played a crucial role either. I’m confident if he did believe it he would have put it in the film. There are definitely Zionist and Israeli connections to the assassination but Israel’s issues with Kennedy pale in comparison to the U.S empire and national security state’s grievances. It’s fair to bring up Milchan but just take a look at the number of films he produced. Oliver has stated clearly that Milchan had no input on any aspect of the content of the film. The fact of the matter is that Oliver’s film was the most important thing to happen to the JFK case since the HSCA, it revitalized the public interest and gave rise to the ARRB which gave us millions of crucial documents and insights that reshaped our understanding of the case. Scott wouldn’t know any of this because he openly stated he doesn’t research the JFK case. Plus Scott often cites Sy Hersh, who is a source of nothing but pure CIA sponsored disinformation about the JFK assassination.

Yeah here’s the problem tho. By you saying LBJ did this or that without a shred of strong evidence, you’re doing the exact same thing. It doesn’t matter who’s president or not. It’s what the evidence shows. Not how you feel. Absolutely government agencies can be held in court. Accusing an institution forces a real investigation into records, budgets, chains of command, and official policies. Accusing a single person can be waved away as a grudge, a misunderstanding, or an isolated rogue actor. The "LBJ did it" theory tends to be promoted by people who favor dramatic single villain narratives over institutional analysis. That’s not the case here. There’s no single mastermind.

@LandlordLinks @ladywaranon @TheFionaBarnett To understand how long the US/UK governments have surveilled telephonic/electronic communications read Bamford's PUZZLE PALACE. From the first undersea cables to today's fiber optic trunk lines the American/British intelligence services have eavesdropped/captured carried signals.

@ladywaranon Long before the creation of CIA and even before the OSS the government had a spy agency. This trafficking operation PRE-DATES Mossad by alot. Is MI6 complicit? Yes. But, again, try to read some of @TheFionaBarnett's work if you simply refuse to understand the role of CIA.

This is one of Maria Farmer's paintings. If U look at the lower left side, she writes "Directed by CIA". For years I have been writing abt CIA. For years all I've heard from people is MOSSAD, MOSSAD, MOSSAD. No. CIA & its precursors run gov sanctioned ops throughout the world.

@karanbhangui Houston's charm is the countless pocket neighborhoods w/in its urban core (i.e., Inside the Loop or Beltway) and its master-planned suburb/exurb communities. Plus the world-class Museum District and Texas Medical Center. Don't forget was first word spoken from the Moon: "Houston"

If you were to ask most people what America’s most important city is, they would say Silicon Valley/SF for tech or LA for defense and Hollywood, or New York City for finance. But the answer is Houston.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

CRAZY DAYS AND NIGHTS
CRAZY DAYS AND NIGHTS@CrazyDaysPoster·
Thursday, May 14, 2026 Today's Blind Items 📌 Dead Three Weeks Later This foreign born A list actor was in bad shape. He was doing so many drugs he could barely figure out where he was most days. He was filming a movie but needed a break. One of his big secrets was who he was hooking up with at the time. She also loved drugs. She also loved the idea of being with an A lister. She was an almost A- list actress at the time. She hooked up with a lot of A listers and even A+ listers but they would do so only in secret. Pretty sure that is why she left her list to be found. She wanted to out the A listers who would only hook up with her without anyone knowing. Anyway, she really wanted to take things public with our A lister. Our actor takes a holiday break from filming. Tells the actress lets go overseas and spend the holidays on a boat. He wanted that so no one would see them together and not see him doing drugs. He tells her to bring a friend that will be into the sex and drugs too. So, our actress brings the actress who has been making the rounds this week. We know her version of events. We don't know the version of the actress who brought her and we don't know the version of the actor because he was dead three weeks later.

@rahmdphd @the_transit_guy I don't own a TV so presupposing my beliefsis ignorant on your part. I was making the point the aquarium, given its receipt of taxpayer funding, should make it more equitable for all the youth of the community to attend. NOT just the poorest but also the less financially secure.
