In Ohio, we have 11 rural hospitals currently on the verge of collapse, moms who have to drive up to an hour to give birth, and millions of Ohioans dropping their healthcare coverage because they just can’t afford it. As a preventive medicine and public health doctor, I know the devastating effects these circumstances can have on our communities, our health outcomes, and Ohioans’ ability to reach their full potential. When I’m governor, Ohio will once again have the best health outcomes in the country.

Another day another @AmericanAir flight significantly delayed for no apparent reason. Seriously how are they one of the big carriers yet have one of the worst on time records? You’d think it would be embarrassing enough that they would deal with this issue at some point. If I’m Delta or Southwest, my whole pitch would be, hey, at least we’re not American Airlines!

Seventh (7th!!) flight delay since this morning. Now more than four hours late and I, as the consumer, have literally zero recourse under terms of carriage. This is one reason I avoid @AmericanAir whenever possible. We need a #passengerbillofrights

We were stranded, @AmericanAir You let us take off in a broken plane that had to return to Philly at 4am, only to have the gate agent declare it was a weather delay. Luckily a passenger recorded the pilot. This was after about an hour at the gate before the aborted flight because the jet wasn’t fueled and the tug was broken. We were stuck with everything closed after the gate agent declared American wasn’t responsible due to weather and promptly went home and left us at the gate (warning us if we left the gate, we will forfeit any future flight. I have screenshot of app saying it was maintenance along with recording of pilot’s explanation. How can I submit these? What are you doing to rectify situation? Gate agent wasn’t even confident this flight will go at 8am and was cruel. The next day, no employee knew that we were stranded. We were continued to be held hostage for six hours because AA lost the paperwork for the plane to fly home. When does it become torture when you force your customers to stay awake 24+ hours without offering food, accommodations or even water? You care nothing for the safety of your customers or their basic human rights. #airtravel #americanairlines #travel
