@the_book_land What were the titles of your classes? If they weren't about British Lit of that period, they weren't going to include Shakespeare, and professors have specific areas of knowledge they teach in. The readings for a college course are neither random nor completely general.

In the 3 years of my bachelor's, all my English Literature professors refused to teach Shakespeare, claiming he was too old for the class to understand, too complex, whatever.
It's unacceptable.
No one's (English) literary education is anywhere near satisfactory without good knowledge of Shakespeare.

UNC despite losing All American Caleb Wilson for their last 8 games was ranked. They had a great class coming in & fired Hubert Davis. They then are rejected by 7-8 coaches & hire a very good NBA coach w/no college HC experience. And we are the ones w/unrealistic expectations?
