It is unacceptable that the NH-44 flyovers from Suchitra to Medchal in Hyderabad remain half-built even in November 2025 after FOUR long years of chaos, diversions, and daily suffering for lakhs of commuters. The latest reply (5 Nov 2025) exposes the shocking reality: Suchitra–Bowenpally: ONLY 50% completed in 4 years, despite spending ₹273 crore. Kompally–Suchitra: Barely 51% done as of September, new deadline June 2026 yet another extension. Every day, we are forced into pothole-infested diversions, dangerously narrow lanes, bumper-to-bumper traffic, and hour-long standstills. This is not “inconvenience.” This is gross mismanagement and a serious public safety hazard. Ambulances stuck. School buses stuck. Working families stuck for hours. And now, with the Paradise–Dairy Farm elevated corridor works, the entire stretch has become a traffic disaster zone. Hyderabad is a top-tier economic powerhouse. But NHAI’s execution on NH-44 is making us look like a neglected city. We demand immediate action not more excuses: Hold contractors accountable for criminal delays. Deploy night-shift works and double manpower. Release a strict, non-negotiable timeline and meet it. Restore basic safety on diversions immediately. Hyderabad has tolerated this mess long enough. Finish the job. NOW. If you fail to show substantial progress immediately, we will be forced to stage a Dharna in front of your office and under your incomplete flyovers.
