I've been thinking about this Article and all the Sensationalist Videos you can find online and it got me thinking: Would some of these problems be solved by having Professional Paranormal Investigators? Think about it. Instead of Amateurs investigating in their spare time oft looking for Wealth and Fame; you have an Institute or a League of Institutes vetting, hiring, and funding one or more Teams. Of course this arrangement would work a bit like NIDS. The Researchers or Investigators would receive a Salary, Equipment, a Miscellaneous Budget, their Names on a Public Report, and the Rights to a Memoir. However, the Evidence, Case Files, Copyright, et cetera; would all belong to the Institute. Thus, the Investigators couldn't get rich fast from a Sensationalist or Questionable Video because all of that stuff would belong to the Institute not the Investigators.

It’s been too negative lately, time to change that. What’s your favorite Bible verse?

@FortySacks Only 13.4% of my Audience is Canadian. However, there does seem to be less of a demand for Anomalistics Research in Canada than there is for Political Content.

@temp_softmax @inkblotistan It's well done but it is AI. The grass and mud never move when the creature jumps in. Based on the scale it would be quite small; not man-sized. Also, river shore that look like that are gradual not sudden drop offs right at the edge.

Albertans are part of the founding story because much of what later became Alberta and Saskatchewan lay within Rupert’s Land, the territory granted to the Hudson’s Bay Company by royal charter in 1670. The company’s origins are closely tied to Pierre Radisson and his brother in law, Médard des Groseilliers, whose fur trade expeditions helped persuade English backers, including Prince Rupert, to support a Hudson Bay venture. When they returned to New France with a major haul of furs, authorities seized their goods and punished them for illegal trading or violating permit terms, which pushed them to seek support elsewhere. Years later, Anthony Henday, a pioneer in service of Hudson’s Bay was the first European to explore the Saskatchewan river. No other explorer in that time traveled as fast or as far. Sir John A. Macdonald encouraged Anglo-Canadians to settle the west, which is where Alberta gets its name and its flag. Alberta comes from Princess Caroline Louise Alberta. The flag of Alberta has St. George’s Cross on it, like Ontario, which is ancient banner of England. Early Albertans were the King’s Cowboys, who brought law and order to the frontier. Like Knights of the Dominion, armed with a lance and a silver sword. Rough men sent to crush opportunistic American rebels taking advantage of the available land, and trying to claim it for the United States. It is Albertans today, who are either ignorant of their history, or prefer the last 120 years of it. Stories of black gold, cattle ranching, and the last best west. American classical liberalism, limited government constitutionalism and republicanism. But Calgary was an outpost of the Northwest Mounted Police, and Edmonton was founded by Anglo-Canadians. Remember who you are, rawhide.

This speaks to why Albertans have a hard finding a home in Canada. Weren’t part of the founding story, were settled by Anglo/franco, indigenous and Ukrainian pioneers and still are the only part of the country consistently voting against liberal denigration. No gratitude for AB
