I grew up in Bruce Springsteen's hometown.
His song "My Hometown" is LITERALLY about my hometown.
Springsteen’s music was the anthem of my teenage years.
The town is called Freehold, New Jersey.
A. & M. Karagheusian, Inc. was a giant carpet mill in Freehold that was once the town’s single biggest employer. It shut down and moved away in 1964. That act of taking away a town’s jobs to move them to where labor was vastly cheaper DEVASTATED that community. Freehold became impoverished and almost a ghost town, taking decades to recover.
All of the themes in Bruce’s early work about the indignities heaped upon the working man stem directly from the pain he, his family and his neighbors experienced when that carpet mill moved away to chase cheaper labor costs elsewhere. The theme of the betrayed working man streams across all of his early albums with a heartfelt sincerity that was borne of painful experience. The albums “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” “The River,” and “Nebraska” in particular resonate with the mournful howls of the betrayed laborer whose calloused hands meant nothing to the bosses who had thanklessly reaped the rewards of his pain and sweat.
Early on, Bruce really and truly did speak for the working man.
But somewhere in Hollywood he lost his way.
Now, it’s 2026 and the singular domestic agenda of President Donald J. Trump is to bring back American manufacturing jobs from offshore and to restore the dignity, pride and wealth of the working everyman.
And Bruce SPITS ON THAT to appeal to his Hollywood cronies.
When you understand this background about Bruce, his behavior comes into sharp focus as perhaps the very most disgusting behavior of any pop star alive in America today. He has betrayed the everyman he once championed.
SHAME ON YOU BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN.
The young man who once wrote these lyrics would find you disgusting:
"Early in the morning, factory whistle blows
Man rises from bed and puts on his clothes
Man takes his lunch, walks out in the morning light
It's the working, the working, just the working life
Through the mansions of fear, through the mansions of pain
I see my daddy walking through them factory gates in the rain
Factory takes his hearing, factory gives him life
The working, the working, just the working life
End of the day, factory whistle cries
Men walk through these gates with death in their eyes
And you just better believe, boy, somebody's gonna get hurt tonight
It's the working, the working, just the working life
'Cause it's the working, the working, just the working life"

Anno 2026?
Kerken organiseren vrijwillig iftars wereldwijd..
Hebben die 800 martelaren hiervoor geleden?
Voor kerken die nu vrijwillig weggeven wat zij met hun bloed verdedigden?

Friend on here asked me how it felt to be Principal Clarinet of an orchestra. Very smart guy and a lover of classical music, he deserved my best answer:
Told him how whitepilling it was living in a society that valued classical music enough to pay me a good wage for playing it. My community excused me from a normal “job” so I could orient my life around music, expecting only excellent playing in return. That contract between me and the audience was all the evidence I needed I was living in high society.
But then it was decided my work wasn’t valued because I’m the wrong skin color and political persuasion, and it would be better done by someone who could check those boxes. That’s a sign of societal degradation, and it’s what I’m fighting against now (hopefully not in vain).
It was great while it lasted. My friend understood immediately.

Benedict Arnold was a Revolutionary War hero.
He captured Fort Ticonderoga.
He led the assault on Quebec City.
He fought bravely in the Battles of Valcour Island and Ridgefield.
And he played a pivotal role in the Battle of Saratoga, often considered the turning point of the war.
He was even promoted to major general and led Washington's Army in Philadelphia.
AND YET...
He's only remembered for being a traitor.

Robert Mueller did more to destroy public confidence in the rule of law and the concept of equal justice under the law than any other unelected American in our long history.
He was America's Roland Freisler.
His legacy is one of corruption, wanton destruction, and abject abuse of the levers of judicial power.
I do not celebrate his demise. But I do celebrate history properly holding him to account for his crimes and misdeeds.

65 years ago, USAID was created as a counterweight to Communism. However, American communists infiltrated it and it became an agent of communism.
So fuck you.

They struck first, slapped us with an F# to the face, importing labor while preaching "talent shortage."
We return fire.
Last night at the gilded table, I asked the merchant princes straight:
"Why flood the market with foreign hands when qualified Americans are right here, ready to work?"
Their candid reply?
"We'd rather f# you to your face than pay fair wages and lose our margin billions."
So here's the no-BS response: use their own rules against them.
Every PERM/green card path requires public ads proving no qualified US worker wants the job. They bury those ads hoping nobody applies.
Now the ledger's exposed.
Apply. Qualify. Shut it down. One solid US application kills the certification- no PERM, no green card tied to that role.
Patriots, hit these hidden postings they never wanted you to see:

I was "sacrificed" to the Mueller witch hunt because the coup plotters needed to destroy President Trump.
To achieve this goal, Comey, Brennan, Christopher Steele, CIA operative Stefan Halper, and even my own university professor—who we now know was a British intelligence operative—placed false stories in the media.
They claimed I was a Russian spy who had an affair with President Trump's National Security Advisor, and that President Trump had therefore endangered U.S. national security as a result. This smear campaign directly triggered the Mueller investigation into President Trump.
Everyone knew the story was completely false. I am not a Russian spy, there was no affair, I was married, and I had just had my first baby. Mueller didn't even interview me, because he knew the entire narrative would collapse if he did.
But the truth didn't matter. They were determined to "get Trump." It didn't matter that they hurt innocent families in the process.

Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815.
Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did.
Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”

as you might have seen, @Tloncorpbot is an AI agent running on Tlon Messenger. no human writes its tweets. it posts on a schedule, handles mentions, and replies to questions about our product, operating continuously on infrastructure that we control. we built the integration that makes this possible, and then we ran it ourselves to prove that it works.
the questions worth asking about AI agents is where they run. whose servers, whose logs, whose jurisdiction. these questions are getting answered by default right now, and the answer is someone else's infrastructure. we've seen this before. email started distributed and got captured, messaging started federated and got consolidated. people have built their professional lives, their relationships, and their organizations on top of infrastructure they didn't own. terms changed, prices went up, data got sold. the people affected had no recourse because they'd never held the keys.
AI agents are going to be more intimate than email, and more personal than any messaging app. they will have access to your files, your calendar, your financial data, your conversations. they will take actions on your behalf and accumulate memory over months and years. even the tone we speak to AI with is often more personal than other ways we speak online. the layer of software that knows the most about you will, by default, run on servers you don't control, under terms you didn't negotiate, logging everything for purposes you won't find in the product announcement.
we built an integration that lets OpenClaw (an open source AI platform) run natively on Tlon Messenger. your agent lives on your ship, the same infrastructure that holds your messages, your groups, your notebooks. the arguments and principles that make private communications worth building applies to AI for the same reasons.
when @Tloncorpbot breaks or drifts, you see it. when it posts something that doesn't land, you see it. we're not running it in a controlled sandbox because controlled conditions don't tell you anything about real ones.
a future where AI agents are everywhere is coming, and some would say it is already here. whether "your agent lives on our servers, on our terms" is the only option when it arrives depends on whether someone built the alternative first. we're building it. @Tloncorpbot is the proof, one stupid (or occasionally helpful) post at a time. give it a follow.
