A recently released Justice Department memo questions decades of protections for Americans with disabilities. The DOJ says states aren’t required to provide home and community-based services that have long kept disabled Americans out of institutions, if they would benefit from these other services. It’s the latest effort by the Trump administration to shift longstanding practices for the disability community. @AliRogin has more.

Scoop via @CBSNews: Just over 50 people have lost their jobs at ODNI since Bill Pulte became acting Director of National Intelligence, per sources. ODNI terminated six career and political intelligence officials, and 45 have been sent back to their home agencies. Pulte had been asking deputies and other directors for suggestions. One source said the cuts have been pretty thoughtful and methodical. They didn't move out anyone from the counterterrorism group. ICE agents beat a man in Minnesota for following and observing their abuses so badly that they gave him brain damage. They chained him to his hospital bed for 5 days and charged him, but like so many other cases, the video led to a dismissal but not charges for the agents.
