I used to believe this too. Then I did 5 minutes of research & realized socialism is literally common sense. But the only way to achieve a lasting Socialism is Communism. Aka revolutionary working class struggle & striving for higher & higher levels of development.

The Royals loaded the bases against Kyle Bradish in the 1st on a single, walk and swinging bunt, but the Orioles get out of it as Carter Jensen grounds into a 4-6-3 DP. Though no runs make it across (and all contact was pretty weak), Bradish is already up to 25 pitches.

@BrianRoemmele Easiest way to explain it to a skeptic is imagine there were a million doors, and you picked one. You'd have 1 in a million chance of being right. Then the host opens up 999,998 doors with goats. Offers you the option to trade your door for the unopened one. Obvious.

In 1990 I wrote a letter to Marilyn vos Savant, Parade Magazine in support of her proof on the Monty Hall Problem. I ran an AI (expert system) test on it and she was right and just about the entire academic community was wrong. They could not accept it. Now they do.

What you aren't told until it's too late, though, is that the moments are more fleeting than you were promised. The happiness less fulfilling than it should have been. What you aren't told is that giving your entire self over to the extreme pursuit of greatness oftentimes -- not always, but oftentimes -- comes at a tremendous price. What you are not told when you're 18 or 22 or 30 is that the true cost of all these dreams and all that glory and this entire life you were supposed to live is so much greater than you ever would have paid.
