So, this afternoon I got home to find a lovely letter from @northernassist telling me about how they wanted to prosecute me for using the below ticket to travel on the specified route at a peak time. I paid £1.90 less than the fare they say I should have paid. A thread 🧵

1. I’m in tears. #DissbilityTwitter pls help me call out @ThistleHotels & @agoda. I booked a wheelchair accessible room in March for my London trip to speak at @WomensPrize tomorrow. arrived in taxi to find there’s 8 steps to get in & there’s no wheelchair accessible room free.

Today I worked with three junior doctors and six nurses who would be ineligible to come and work in the NHS if the govt’s desperate dog-whistle of a policy to raise the earning cap to £35k goes through. That would reduce the staffing levels by 33%. But maybe that’s the plan?
