@andrewstevo39 I think the problem is the time it is taking to administer the punishment. The EFL don’t move at a fast pace, even when the circumstances necessitate it!
Honestly how hard is it to get, Southampton CHEATED. They broke the rules, regardless of the results, what advantage they got, if any. They CHEATED and broke the rules. Thats what all the fuss is about. Whatever the punishment for them, they have nobody to blame but themselves
Good morning you gorgeous people. The big day has arrived. The Unite the Kingdom March in London. I was at the last one when I took this photo. It was a perfect day of individuals and families coming together and having a great day out. There was fun, laughter and a really great time was had by all. I’m looking forward to the same again today. Do be careful though. Not of fellow marchers, but of the police. After two years of pro terrorist supporters marching every single week in London, whilst threatening Jews and non Muslims, where the police gave them nice little cuddles and let them do and say whatever they wanted with their threats of violence; today, the police are desperate to arrest British people. Do not give them any cause to. They may smile at you as you pass them, but they are not on your side. They hate you and want you behind bars. So be very careful. Have a fantastic day and if you see me, wave! Cheers 🥂
@DarranA1979@Boro It was him who put us there too, the EFL were happy to agree to our amortisation calculations until he started whinging and wouldn’t let it go.
I can confirm that I will be requesting the permission of the NEC to stand in the Makerfield by-election.
I grew up in this area and have lived here for 25 years. I care deeply about it and its people. I know they have been let down by national politics.
Ten years ago, I decided to leave Westminster. Why? Because, after 16 years, I came to the conclusion that our national political system does not work for areas like ours. I learnt this fighting its failure to invest in the Wigan borough, for justice for the Hillsborough families and against its treatment of Greater Manchester during the pandemic.
Over the last decade, I have been challenging this failure from the outside and building a new and better way of doing politics. We have built Greater Manchester into the fastest-growing city-region in the UK and put buses back under public control, introducing a £2 fare cap to help people with cost-of-living pressures.
However, there is only so much that can be done from Greater Manchester. Much bigger change is needed at a national level if everyday life is to be made more affordable again. This is why I now seek people’s support to return to Parliament: to bring the change we have brought to Greater Manchester to the whole of the UK and make politics work properly for people.
Millions are struggling and they need the Labour Government to succeed. It has already made changes to make life better for them in its first two years. After this week, we owe it to people to come back together as a Labour movement, giving the Prime Minister and the Government the space and stability they need as the by-election takes place.
I want to recognise the difficult decision taken by Josh Simons and the sacrifice he and his family are making. I have worked closely with him as Mayor on issues like flooding and illegal waste dumping and have seen first-hand how effective he has been. He has put the communities of Makerfield first, made a real difference for them and should take great pride in that.
Finally, I truly do not take a single vote for granted and will work hard to regain the trust of people in the Makerfield constituency, many of whom have long supported our party but lost faith in recent times. We will change Labour for the better and make it a party you can believe in again.

It won't come as a surprise, that I just filmed this in West Ealing. It also won't come as a surprise it was an SUV driver.
This kind of dangerous parking will not be tolerated in my local community. So obviously I will be reporting the driver.
In all the chaos today, you may have missed the fact, that jurors are now deliberating their decision on the outcome of the two filthbags who attacked armed officers at Manchester airport!!
Decision expected in the coming days!!
What are we expecting??

I can't say for certain if either of the gentlemen are 54, but I can say with a degree of certainty, that neither are female. BB is a 54 year old female. And the fact they are unloading food into a burger van tells me something is amiss.
@EalingCouncil
@JadeC31@CitizenUddin@EalingCouncil Why does the Y equal female, you would have thought it was male with the XY chromosome thing and X (XX) being female! That would make sense to me anyway!
Eden Fitness, Uxbridge Road, Ealing
I mentioned to this lady as I was walking past, that she was looking good for a 81 year old (the permit holders age) "I've got mental health" she said.
That's sad. But she is still not 81.
Another case for @EalingCouncil me 🤔
@benonwine@Bladesman77 As customers we don’t want to see thieves strolling in and out of shops thieving whatever they like, we want to see them apprehended and dealt with!
Gary MacArthur gave 15 years of his life to Sainsbury’s in West Wickham, south-east London.
He wasn’t some troublemaker.
He was the worker who stayed late to make female colleagues feel safer.
The worker who performed CPR on the store’s only security guard after he suffered a suspected stroke.
The worker who had already previously LOST TEETH after being punched by a thief while trying to protect the store.
But after tackling an allegedly aggressive repeat offender known for targeting the branch and stealing bottles of Moët, Bollinger and Veuve Clicquot Sainsbury’s sacked him for gross misconduct.
This was after colleagues screamed there was an “aggressive Champagne thief” in the store.
According to reports, the shoplifter later smashed bottles and hurled them at staff.
Yet Gary MacArthur a man who dedicated 15 years of loyalty, protected colleagues and even helped save a life that same day — was told he should have acted only as a “visual deterrent.”
Absolutely disgusting.
Supermarket workers are being punched, threatened, abused and terrorised by repeat shoplifters on a daily basis… yet the staff who actually step in to protect colleagues and customers are the ones losing their jobs.
Gary MacArthur at Sainsbury’s.
Walker Smith at Waitrose.
Sean Egan at Morrisons.
Gavin Ramsay at Asda.
Decades of loyalty thrown away because they refused to stand by while thieves ran riot.
What kind of country are we becoming where the people trying to protect others lose everything… while the criminals walk straight back out onto the streets?
You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me.
Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true.
Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response.
I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth.
The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts.
I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse.
So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.
This morning we met a Dad with his two kids who were doing litter picking out of the hedgerows. I stopped to thank them & told the kids they are awesome. Dad proudly said they wanted to do something environmental in honour of #DavidAttenborough 100th Birthday ❤️❤️❤️
@hawkes13soozie@cjg2405@andymardon@Jenny_1884 Yes as far as I know they don’t means test disability benefit, I don’t understand why this is different. Tbf I have got used to the idea that my mum will be left with nothing, but I don’t know how we are going to fund the top up fees
Why does it cost upwards of £1K a week for someone to live in a care home?
This is an extortionate amount of money.
Why is this never investigated?
Considering care workers earn a relatively low wage then there’s a lot of people out there making a lot of money out of people suffering.
@cjg2405@hawkes13soozie@andymardon@Jenny_1884 Why do they make it so difficult? Government money is handed out so easily in other departments but in caring for our elderly they will do anything to avoid it 😔
@hawkes13soozie@andymardon@Jenny_1884 My mother has end stage dementia, needs round the clock care, can’t move, can’t communicate, doubly incontinent, has gone from level 2 to level 3 thickening of liquids which has to be administered now by a tablespoon…and we are fighting the council to get CHC approved
@RichardC97070 Haha why do these people think everyone else wants to hear what they’ve got to say? Think it’s hilarious that you’ve posted it, serves him right. And I thought exactly the same with ‘all good to go buddy’ 🥴
