I hosted the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Didi Esther Walson-Jack to cut the tape at the commissioning of the Permanent Secretaries’ Quarters in Elimgbu, PH, Rivers State. The project will strengthen public service delivery by providing decent and secure housing for senior civil servants, improving productivity and proficiency. I urged the beneficiaries to protect the facilities, while the Head of Service of our dear State was tasked with ensuring proper management by providing a Facility Manager, as we have plans to extend similar support to other cadres. The project’s significance was reinforced by the visit of the National Working Committee of our party, APC and affirms our continued appreciation of Mr President’s support. Earlier, we hosted a federal government delegation led by the NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. I commended Mr President’s efforts in addressing challenges in Ogoniland, including the inclusion of Ogoni sons and daughters in national institutions and the plan to repair aging oil facilities.

It was revealed that before fubara’s defection to the APC, he met with some key ADC members in Rivers state, the like of Celestine Omehia, Austin Opara, Uche Secondus and Lee Mabea, they all agreed that fubara should move to APC in other to destabilize the party in the state by working underground for ADC and fubara agreed to fund the ADC while in APC but however a security report got the villa and immediately Celestine Omehia was suspected of leaking the information to one of his former colleague in the south, that is why if you notice the first and second commissioning that fubara did omehia was not there, have you asked yourself why he hasn’t been in any recent function again? It is clear that the government in power has no political will to curb the incessant killings and terrorist attacks plaguing our country today. The government has failed to provide adequate protection for its citizens, as evidenced by the surge in terrorist attacks and mass kidnappings in some parts of the country – challenging our national security. This failure to act decisively has sadly emboldened terrorists and eroded public trust. The incessant attacks on innocent citizens in Plateau; the reported attack and kidnapping of secondary schoolgirls in Kebbi; an ambush on soldiers in Borno resulting in the abduction and killing of a Brigadier General, M. Uba; the attack on a church in Kwara; and the kidnapping of a priest, Rev. Fr. Bobbo Paschal, in Kaduna – all within a week – are too much to be ignored. The Federal Government needs to step up its game, sharpen its response to terrorist activities, strengthen military intelligence and tactical operations, and live up to the expectations of its people. To Mr. President: your primary assignment is the security of lives and property. Enough of looking the other way or issuing watery statements of condemnation. Prioritizing a summit or jetting out for whatever reason when Nigerians are dying can never be the trait of a good leader. It is time to probe wrong decisions, strategize, and make tough calls. Instead, they hinder it, creating unnecessary tension and undermining the rule of law. Matters of justice are resolved in courts, not on the streets or through bravado and hysteria. The Sowore Pastime of PR agitation and courting of public sympathy to interfere with judicial proceedings is outdated and counterproductive in a modern democracy. Sowore and his team can never try these  stunts in Europe or America. You cannot employ protest and civil unrest to demand the release of someone accused of terrorism and whose case is still on court. Not even in America.  It is important to note that the case of Nnamdi Kanu predates President Tinubu’s administration. The matter remains firmly within the jurisdiction of the judiciary, where it is following due process in accordance with the law. This administration respects the independence of the courts and will not interfere in ongoing legal proceedings. Freedom and Democracy have their limits.  Testing these limits will invite the full application of the laws as clearly stated. On this one, Sowore is walking a fine line. The judiciary should be let alone to do its work without interference.
