if you like monad, buying spot and chill is not enough
highest upside move is betting on great native apps with no token and a solid rev model
monad can't win without native apps popping off:
-proof of innovation for the monad tech
-new liquidity through project airdrop campaigns
there's a reason why 38.5% of MON is allocated for ecosystem development

Last month, our friend @pareen recommended that we publish a case study on Neverland’s organic growth. He has been supportive not only to us, but all builders shipping on Monad and we are so grateful for his guidance on this journey. Here is our deep dive into how Neverland, while relatively unknown, gained real user traction to become one of the top lending protocols on Monad!
Why do we call this growth “organic”?
- No paid TVL/liquidity deals
- No airdrop hype
- No points program (real tangible rewards distribution from day 1)
- Never paid KOLs for shill posts
- Didn’t raise more than needed for the prestige because we didn’t want our users becoming an investor’s exit liquidity
- Didn’t receive external incentives for 3 months while nearly every other lending platform on the chain received incentives to distribute to users from day 1
Thank you to all our users who provided testimonials for us to use in this article! 💜

Monad is rationalizing gas costs with true costs and constraints, so that developers can make the most of the hardware and build the most powerful applications.
MIP-4 (linear memory expansion costs) is the first step in that direction. Live on Monad Mainnet now.
James@_jhunsaker
Monad now has linear memory expansion costs rather than quadratic like Ethereum. Smart contracts can now use more memory for cheaper cost. This expands what developers can build on Monad as well as reduces the need to potentially compromise security for optimization purposes.
