Yes, and the approach Travis is championing here is also partly responsible for the 10X explosion in elective homeschooling over the last decade. Look for it to double again over the next one. Charter school boom similarly. But he’d probably tell us that we aren’t qualified to teach our own kids. That general liberal arts curriculum makes all the difference in their minds.

@taketheunderzet I actually think it’s because Sean Tucker didn’t leave. Bucky didn’t start sliding when Gainwell get signed but when they retained Tucker he plummeted. Correct me if I’m wrong but another team can still poach Tucker if they want, right?

Omenihu's $4m will qualify! Chiefs won't get a pick cause he isn't in the Top 32, but will cancel out Chiefs depth signings to protect the Jaylen Watson comp pick. Chiefs have a two signing buff due to Josh Williams. Wake up Brett Veach!
Nick Korte@nickkorte

Since there are rumors that the Ravens might pursue Trey Hendrickson after not trading for Maxx Crosby, I'll reup this chart. If the Ravens don't want to cancel out a 3rd round 2027 compensatory pick, they should let Hendrickson know that they're not going to cross $22M APY.

If we can get a day 3 pick for Jawaan that’s just be the cherry on top. I don’t think it’s impossible given the FA market. A team takes on the remaining $20m and could easily give him a 1-2 year extension to reduce that hit. The fact no official release has happened could indicate that there are some teams poking around. Keep in mind the Titans gave Dan Moore 4y/$82m last year. Jawaan at 1y/$20m is extremely reasonable.

@misfitpatriot_ You an an idiot. Companies bringing goods "in" are the importer. Companies shopping goods out are the exporter. So when a US company brings in goods from outside the US, the US company pays the tariff. Goodness you are a moron

Let’s debunk the whole “tariffs are a tax on Americans” talking point. A tariff is a “tax” on the IMPORTER of goods to the U.S. which means by definition, it is NOT a tax on Americans, its an additional fee in the form of a percentage added on to the cost of the product being shipped into this country. Essentially, it’s the cost of doing business. As stated in the latest SCOTUS ruling, the president has the authority to impose tariffs on goods through multiple avenues. This authority was given to him by congress in 1922, 1934, and 1974 through different pieces of legislation. Tariffs are paid to the U.S. by the country importing the goods, and they are collected by customs and border protection. The money then goes into the treasury, and is added to the general pool Congress uses to allocate for funding the military, Medicare, etc. In 2025, Trumps tariffs brought in 287 BILLION dollars. So, why do people say they’re a tax on Americans when they’re clearly a tax on other countries who import goods into America? The answer is simple, they’re lying to you. What these liars are implying is because the cost of goods will go up for a country like China, THEY will raise their prices and charge American companies who buy the product more, which they will then roll over to the consumer, and they claim that is essentially you being “taxed”. This is like calling the rise in price of a lobster based on season a “tax”. When in reality it’s just market value fluctuating due to mitigating factor. The part none of these talking heads will tell you is tariffs hurt the importer way more than it will ever affect the consumer. If we charge China a 15% mark up, and they try and recoup 100% of that by passing it to the receiver in America, they’ll just find a new supplier that isn’t so expensive or make their product in America and avoid tariffs all together. Retailers will never raise prices to the point where they lose customers. Nobody is gonna pay 15% more for something that was 15% cheaper the day before. What most businesses will do when we start imposing tariffs on other countries is build their product in America. That creates jobs, manufacturing, and over time, LOWERS the cost of goods across the board because now we have a competitive market instead of a market reliant on cheap shit from countries with no quality control and slave labor. Tariffs aren’t a tax on Americans, they’re a tool to incentivize American exceptionalism, and put America first over the countries who have been ripping us off by stealing our production, innovation, and manufacturing, and then selling it back to us for 10 cents on the dollar.

Donald Trump just announced a NEW 15% TAX on the American people. He does not care about you.

Best ball is brutal. Advanced 39 of 150 teams in DK MM. Then advanced 4 of 39. Then one of my 4 went off in week 16, sadly it would have won 3 of my 4 pods, it just ended up in the wrong pod.

I’ve known Mike for nearly 20 years & I do consider him a friend. But this should be so far beneath him. Addison was suspended under a different policy & it’s a totally different process. He of course knows this, but go ahead and anonymously quote a “conspiracy theorist.”
ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk

Jordan Addison and Rashee Rice pleaded guilty THE SAME DAY. Addison will miss the first three games of the season. Rice will be available for four (and likely five) high-profile games. Source: "Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, but this is odd." nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

Truth serum the NFL is treating the Rashee Rice suspension differently to help the Chiefs. If record = bad, earlier suspension.

@nickercolano Wrong. The hearing is with an arbitrator. So the suspension may not start right after that, just like Watsons didnt with the same arbitrator

the nfl disciplinary meeting for rashee is on sept 30 meaning his sspn will start immediately after that the chiefs have a week 10 bye. depending on suspension length, will be back in your lineups: 4-game sspn: week 9 (@ buf) 5-game sspn: week 11 (@ den) 6-game sspn: week 12 (vs ind) 7-game sspn: week 13 (@ dal) 8-game sspn: week 14 (vs hou) i have no idea if there's a likelihood of this being longer than 8 games, or shorter than 4, or if this gets dismissed without discipline altogether, or if it's possible that this meeting can get pushed back even further as everyone on twitter has recycled already, mid season sspn is tougher to push through bc you're dealing with injuries already and bye weeks starting in week 5, but also think that's less impactful than the over-reaction we're seeing on twitter. the length of the suspension, which we still don't know, is 95x more important than you not being able to roster dallas goedert for 5 weeks. we all love having kyle williams at the end of our bench, but that's a brick/doesn't matter more often than not as @adamlevitan already tweeted, ETR is projecting a 6 gamer, give or take. that's a good baseline given precedent of these infractions, but if there's anything i've learned being in this space for a while it's that more often than not, we're completely wrong as a group trying to predict these things one guy on twitter (who probably has a law degree but little-to-no context behind the curtains) gives his well-intended opinion and then the whole community runs with it for months until we hear something completely different (which almost always happens) i moved rashee down from WR24 to WR26 in ppr WR24 - xavier worthy WR25 - jameson williams WR27 - dj moore WR28 - rome odunze he's still my 53rd ranked player so mid 5th rounder in 1QB
