New system of #Bribe collection : Yesterday parked 2 wheeler opp. Runwal greens, #Mulund west, suddenly a person comes & ask us to remove our bike, we asked why ? The person says “yeh hamara #parking hai.. hamari 4 cars yeha park hoti hai” we said its #BMC road, But he said i pay monthly ₹1250 for 1 car, so for 4 cars we pay ₹5000 to #Traffic dept. So if u pay you get fixed parking on BMC roads also 🤔 Isn’t it a unique way ???

The blaze, which originated on the ground floor premises of the salon, triggered immediate panic in the busy locality. Thick smoke quickly engulfed the building, prompting emergency evacuation measures, particularly at the hospital situated above. Hospital staff acted swiftly to ensure patient safety, shifting admitted individuals to safer areas within the facility as a precautionary measure after smoke began rising upwards. Officials confirmed that, as of now, no casualties or injuries have been reported. Multiple fire brigade units reached the scene within minutes and launched an intensive firefighting and rescue operation. Firefighters are currently working to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent establishments in the densely packed commercial-residential zone. A senior fire officer on-site stated that the exact cause of the fire will only be determined after the completion of rescue operations and a detailed investigation. Meanwhile, Mulund Police have also reached the location and coordinated with utility agencies. Officials from BMC, Electricity and Mahanagar Gas Limited have been called in to shut down power and gas lines in the vicinity to ensure the safety of rescue personnel and prevent any secondary hazards. The area has been cordoned off, and authorities have urged citizens to avoid the vicinity to allow uninterrupted emergency response. Further updates are awaited as operations continue.
