The social research which has largely remained a discursive practice in Pakistan, needed a prescriptive and interventionist policy analysis, which RASTA PIDE is achieving through providing CGP research grants on the most pressing issues. The *4th PIDE RASTA conference*, based on the CGP research projects, going to be held on 📅 September 3-4, 2024 📌 Roomy Signature Hotel, Islamabad, covers a wide array of research on such issues. The conference themes cover both the hardware and software of Pakistan economy: mental healthcare and wellbeing, political economy of education, Pakistan’s IT industry, investment, stock exchange, wheat subsidies and food security, rental income in agriculture, and fiscal management.
