Parents are pulling their kids out of public schools, that’s a red flag. We have some of the highest levels of education funding, but our children still aren’t learning and our schools are some of the worst in the nation. This is Tina Kotek’s Oregon, she’s been falling students and parents, for almost four years, and we’ve had enough. When I’m Governor, we’re going to fix our schools and make sure funding goes to helping kids learn, not failed agendas and ideologies.

Oregon’s students are not getting the education they need. Tina Kotek has led the way and left our kids behind. Scores are low and more money isn’t fixing what’s broken. We need class sizes that support learning, curriculum and training that ensures kids can read by time they are in the 3rd grade, proficiency-based diplomas, more instructional time and fewer room clears. Let's be clear. Measure 120 failed because of failed leadership. Period. While Tina Kotek is skirting blame for soaring gas prices and leaning on outside experts to tell her how to run ODOT, I have a plan on day one to make ODOT accountable to Oregonians WITHOUT raising their taxes.
