@Jillybeany1 @AerLingus @AerLingus @Jillybeany1 the issue is that I was forced to select a premium seat with my infant daughter during online check-in. I was unable to select any seats for the flight to sit with my infant that did not incur an additional charge despite seats being available.

@AerLingus To reiterate my question, why as a passenger travelling with an infant was I not able to select a seat free of charge when check-in opened? I was only able@to@select a seat for an infant in the premium area this incurring an extra charge.

@AerLingus I would appreciate a response to my above query please. Having to pay an additional €62 for parents to sit with their infant and child leaves a sour taste to our trip. There were no such charges on the outbound flight.

@AerLingus logged in to check-in for my flight from Faro to Dublin and shocked that I am being expected to pay a premium for 2 parents to sit with an infant? Only infant assigned seating is in the premium areas? This is disgraceful.
