@latikambourke Utterly pathetic. Trump and his accomplice Netanyahu precipitated this crisis. They can stop it by ending this illegal, contrived war. Wake up. You are nothing but a sad propagandist.

@PaulBongiorno @FinancialReview @MichaelSukkarMP Sounds like she agrees with your opinion, so facts are irrelevant. Nothing racist about Howard. He was a great, and we’d be far better off if we had him instead of the line of failed PMs we’ve had in the two decades since JH!

You know what Australia? We bitch and moan about things we don't like in our country, but when l compare our short comings with what's happening in America and what America is allowing to happen, l reckon we are going okay.🌅

@blowingtom2 That is not special achievements. Just normal work that she was paid to do. Under her leadership, a VC veteran was dramatically arrested in a staged event for maximum humiliation. That is not fair play. There is a deliberate maliciousness at play here. No bail granted. Why?

My boomer dad retired at 62. Full pension. Paid off house. Medicare at 65. Social security at 67. Told me at Thanksgiving, I just need to be more disciplined with my money, I make $71,000. Rent is $1,900. I have $4,000 in savings. I didn't say anything. I passed the rolls. But here's what i wanted to say: Your pension was defunded by lobbyists your generation elected. Your social security is solvent because mine is still paying in. Your houseis worth $800,000 because mine costs $600,000. You didn't build differently. You just got there first.

@Peter_Fitz It could all be sorted if Bowen would sit for a one on one formal interview with a non ABC reporters such as Chris Uhlman. That would sort it once and for all. If both sides of this nett zero debate believe they have the answers what's to lose?

Not sure who the journalist is, but Bowen wiped the floor with him. The premise that our energy crisis is because we have too many renewables is ludicrous, intellectually dishonest and tailored tabloid trash. #Auspol
stranger@strangerous10

Chris Bowen fires back, schools & embarrasses Anti-renewables journo on importance of Renewables during a crisis & for refusing to let other journos ask questions “Solar energy has to travel 150 mill km from the sun, it doesn’t have to travel the 150km of the Strait of Hormuz”🔥

Chris Bowen presser hijacked by an egotistical Channel 7 ' reporter' , who no doubt is putting on a show for fellow journos. But Liam Bartlett does have form. Channel 7's Spotlight interview with Bruce Lehrmann comes to mind. Chequebook journalism to the extreme.

Which part is a lie, Mac? That Hanson called for Australia to enter the war in Iran? That’s on the public record. That 61% of Australians want to stay out? That’s a Resolve poll. That only 13% want us involved? Same poll. That she flies on Gina Rinehart’s private jet? That’s been confirmed by her own party members. I don’t belong to any political party. I belong to the evidence. You should try it.

Pauline Hanson has called for Australia to help Trump by entering the war in Iran. 61% of Australians want to stay out of this conflict entirely. Only 13% want us involved. And yet here’s Hanson — flying around the country on Gina Rinehart’s private jet — calling for us to send our people into a war in the Middle East. We’ve been here before. Iraq was going to be quick. Afghanistan was going to be decisive. Between them, Australia lost more than 50 Australian lives and spent over two decades in conflicts that achieved nothing lasting. Meanwhile in Washington, the Trump administration has refused to rule out a military draft. When asked directly whether American mothers should be worried about conscription, the White House press secretary said the president “wisely keeps his options on the table.” Even Marjorie Taylor Greene called them liars for not ruling it out — and that’s saying something. This is the war Hanson wants us to join. A war where 165 schoolgirls were killed by a missile strike on day one. A war where Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz. A war where every stated objective has produced the opposite outcome. It’s easy to call for other people’s children to go to war when you’re travelling by private jet. Promises are easy when you’ve never had to balance a federal budget — or face the consequences of sending young Australians into a conflict that the vast majority of the country wants no part of.

@haytocd @colecameron @LiamRBartlett @7NewsSpotlight Surely you’re joking?? We thought he was amazing actually asking good hard relevant questions. This govt has had a free ride for too long. Bowen is nothing but a liar. We need to use all our fossil fuels, we’re an island and we are very vulnerable.
