@siwachvinay I see, but he will have to cut do 57 3 times at least -- to make it to Japanese team, to qualify for the olympics and then to actually compete that

@MZanona I'm pretty sure if one digs deep enough he's findable. Just need some investigative staff and $$

NEW: Rep. Tom Kean Jr.'s absence isn't just being noticed in DC - it's also being felt in his district
Neighbors haven't seen him in months. We knocked on his door, no one answered.
Some constituents say calls & emails have gone unanswered and think he should be more transparent
"It’s pretty shocking and fairly alarming to me as a voter"
Others, tho, willing to show him grace
"There’s a good amount of privacy that people are allowed to have, whether they’re in office or not"
Me & @KyleAlexStewart's dispatch from Westfield, N.J., for @NBCNews .. with much more airing 5pm tonight on @HallieOnNBC

@siwachvinay Is that a lot for 2nd day cut, for lower weights? How much did Vinesh had to cut when she missed in Paris?

@thomas_wier @Mikiashvili_M It doesn't have ethnic connotations in Georgian either. ქართველური would mean almost exactly the same thing like "Kartvelian" in English. ქართველი on the other hand has dual meaning for ethnicity and nationality (საქართველოელი is extremely clunky)

@Mikiashvili_M It's not a terminological error; you're assuming there's one 'correct' Platonic meaning to words. The English word 'Kartvelian' simply does not mean what its Georgian cognate means. The English word refers exclusively to linguistic phylogeny, and has no ethnic connotations.
English

Georgia is a language family state (Kartvelian family). Like if all Indo-Europans lived in one state.
For that reason, I understand Polish, Czech and Crotian more via Russian than I understand other Kartvelian languages…
And in Georgian language, ethnicity is “Kartvelian,” which encompasses everyone who speaks Kartvelian, not just monolingual Georgian speakers.
The terminological error in English and Russian creates a condition when some people question the “Georgianness” of Svans and Megrelians, all while they are Kartvelians as an ethnicity, and speak Svan and Megrelian in addition to Georgian the state language that derives from eastern Georgia.
fi𝓈h魚🇭🇰🇺🇦🇬🇪@_plus_852
თუ apparently means things which are quite different in kartvelian languages
English

@Mikiashvili_M You can easily be a Megrelian and not Georgian. Ethnicity is negotiated. Happens more ourside of Georgia, sure.

@jon_selvaraj What is the justification from WFI barring her to even compete in open tournaments?

Taz just doesn't have the cardio to wrestle hard for more than the first two minutes.

Japan’s Arash Yoshida takes out Olympic champ Akhmed Tazhudinov 15-6 to make the Asian Championship finals!
English

@KozakJon No, Taz just isn't heavy. His weight at RAF was around 97 as well.
English

@hedgehogday Olympics was two years ago lol
I wonder if the weight cut is an issue
English

@KozakJon I meant the match at the olympics but yea he was super off today. Maybe injured. Taz is one of the very unpredictable wrestlers in terms of career direction. He may just crash and burn, be a multiple champ, or become just one of the good 97's
English

@hedgehogday 3, two-minute periods helped against Snyder.
Taz was so tired 20 seconds into the second against Yoshida

Silvio #Baldini could be named Italy National Team’s interim coach for the friendly game against Greece in June

@1Nokhchuo_ @Dtakatani1122 Small 74er or not, but he was cutting even for 79 they say, so he's way overweight.
