Downhill skiers crash all the time, it's part of the sport and fear of it is why so few people can compete at that level.

@goranopacic @awscloud Aurora offers a more than DB operation. Multi-region global replicas with automatic failover is huge for disaster recovery. Not to say no other operator can provide that or you can't build it yourself, but with Aurora it's essentially free (effort, not cost.)

After years of using @awscloud Aurora, we are moving back to dedicated hardware. MySQL K8s operators are great, storage is cheap, memory is cheap, cpu is cheap, I can run 5.7 as much as I like and no AI. I'll miss database cloning and instant read replicas. 1/n
