@johnnytheshort I don’t think it’s in the bible but there was a period where some Christians believed that following his death, Jesus willingly went to Hell to liberate the damned before his resurrection. I don’t think it was a belief which was held for very long or was very widespread.

This piece of sculpture in #Bristol Cathedral is known as “The Harrowing of Hell” and depicts Christ descending to Hell before his Resurrection. It was discovered after part of the Cathedral was destroyed in the Bristol riots of 1831 and is estimated to be over 1,000 years old.

UK Universities are not being destroyed because of a funding crisis. The funding crisis was created to destroy universities. Senior managers and the Government are equally to blame for that.

it is morally reprehensible for “holiday homes” to exist. no-one should own more than one home when people are forced to live on the streets or in precarious, poor quality, unaffordable private rentals. as a bare minimum second home ownership must be banned.
