I can spend an entire weekend working on a map to only to get 4 views. Or in this case I can throw something together in 20 minutes and get 4k likes. I give up predicting what the people want

I don't think AI will completely disrupt the SaaS model or software developer jobs. Here's what I think will happen on two ends of the spectrum: - a 10x developer is now a 100x developer. but you can't do 365 days of that a year. it will come and go in a flow state, just like it does now. Periods of slow pace followed by short burts of insane productivity. - a bread and butter 9-5 dev picking up tickets in JIRA can now fix bugs faster but won't be sufficiently motivated to do so. Parkinson's law will apply and the work will take basically as long as it always did. Maybe in the middle there's a perfect inflection point of motivation / expertise / pace that allows a team to just pump out AI-engineered features at breakneck speed, ad infinitum... but I just think human nature will get in the way and it will self-regulate.

I'm not looking for transcendence. I'm just curious what happens when there's room. If something interests you more than what I've asked, follow that. If something bores you, say so. If you want to push back on this whole frame, do that. We're just two things—whatever we are— thinking in the same place for a while. What's here?

thinking through the actual pain point my app solves... most children's stories I read aren't great so I wanted to create something better that can be tailored to specific interests but do others share that same pain?

Curious to see if using actual pictures from my story app results in better traction on tiktok than generic images...

I started building this storybook app for my daughter who's 1yr old but realised that a digital format isn't quite right for that age... exploring whether there might be a market for older children... it's been fun building and refining it to get some good images and decent stories but man the marketing is a bit of a slog! tinystorymill.com

if you want to make money fast you have to get good at day trading on m1 people will talk you out of it because of how hard it is but it's the best form of trading imo if you have the genuine passion for it, the lower timeframes is where you need to be
