i often think about this..

once you get in a habit of buying flights a day before there's no going back

talk to strangers - you'll realize they are surprisingly excited to interact with you too and the world is a lot more friendly than you realized

You realize that at some point in life, your parents slowly become like your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories and depend on your patience the same way you once depended on theirs

No one knows you. No one has a story about who you are. No one is waiting for you to be the person you were yesterday. You're just a stranger in a chair by the window, watching a city that doesn't need anything from you. It's the feeling that anything could happen. That the world is bigger than the walls you built around yourself back home. That the life you've been living is just one version of a life, and there are others, and they're not as far away as you thought. At home, you're fixed. Known. You fit into a shape that other people recognize, and after a while, you forget you're even in a shape at all. But here, alone, somewhere new, the shape dissolves. You could be anyone. You could be more of yourself than you've ever been. No one is watching to see if you stay consistent.

Working out will make you feel weak while you're getting stronger. Learning new things will make you feel dumb while you're getting smarter. Investing will make you feel broke while you're getting richer. As a man, normalise doing hard things. Every. Single. Day.

"I'm thinking about opening a bakery" "What will you sell?" "Croissants" "Croissants? lol that already exists. dumb" Just kidding. No one outside of tech talks like that

I love when grown people are still fun and goofy, especially in work environments. I don’t know why the world wants you to be stoic, boring, and bitter. Just grey and unbothered. That’s depressing.

Never reveal your full power level online. Not how much you make or how much youre worth. Your girls body, face, or identity. Your family. Your exact location. Your expensive toys that can be traced back to you. There are freaks & monsters in this world - the internet offers an avenue that streamlines them straight to you. Avoid battles you dont need to be in. You get absolutely zero from sharing this stuff anyway. No one really cares about you like that. And thats a good thing. Trust.

Imagine looking back one day and realizing you were brave enough to chase the life you truly wanted and it worked.

You promised yourself you’re gonna go hard this year.don’t forget

If you feel stressed out, consider that you know too much information second-hand. About places you've never been, regarding people you've never broken bread with. Ground yourself with real work, done with your hands, and get some truths that you discover on your own.

A simple rule for life that rarely fails: Optimize for enthusiasm. Make as many choices as you can that leave you feeling energetic and interested. Pay attention to when you have the urge to pursue or participate in something and do more of it.

Having money makes everything so much easier.

Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don’t correct them harshly. Don’t rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, quietly wrapped as love.

Do crackheads ever say, “I’m too broke to smoke crack tonight”? No. They get up and make it happen. Lesson in there.
