@Munalozy I'm like this, and truly sometimes I feel bad but guyyyy.... my head is full most of the time I'm alone. To be a breadwinner in this economy isn't funny. I get extremely exhausted mentally after every social meeting, I usually need days to recharge.

There are some friends you meet physically who are very energetic and jovial, with lots of gist. They keep talking and smiling like you haven’t seen each other in years. But the moment they get back home, you won’t hear from them, they won’t text or call. They’re terrible at reaching out unless you do first. Yet, when you meet again, the same energy comes back. Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with this set of friends. 🤣

I haven’t had sex in almost 5 months now. My wife says she’s constantly exhausted from breastfeeding and the baby waking up every 2 hours. I leave at 6am for work, and come back late, still help with night feeds sometimes and weekend chores, but she just rolls over and says “not tonight, I’m touched out.” I feel invisible and unwanted in my own bed. I've tried suggesting we plan a date night without the kids, she called it pressure. Resentment is growing fast. What should I do before I start looking elsewhere?

When i said im very skeptical bout taking my dog to some place that isn’t under my care This is my utmost fear Now this is a millionaires dog but left under the care of a security guy who lives with his wife and two kids Millionaire is abroad but sends money monthly for his dog. Imagine a dog owner absent and still sends money for the upkeep. That means he loves his dog. One thing led to the other, Jomos vet was called to go do one or two for the poor dog and he asked me to join him cause i was at the clinic . We drove down there and this security guy was doing everything possible to lie and cover up. He told this man his phone is button phone and can’t access camera He also started begging i and the vet guy to do same and cover up for him. That we should only talk bout the bruises. The vet clearly told the man that the dog looked underfed . But i did otherwise. The owner was speaking with the vet through the guys phone and i saw his name saved as Boss Emeka. I started speaking Igbo on the background lamenting all sorts of things bout how the dog looks in Igbo language. This security guy isn’t Igbo and he was making signs for me to stop speaking Igbo Long story cut short, he has being told to pack before night. Imagine i didn’t go with them? And i don’t feel sorry one bit. Let him go.. both his wife and kids These are the pictures of the dog. A pure breed Caucasian looking like this with bruises all over. I've experienced scorpion sting. It was a terrible experience that I don't think that other guy comes any close. It was around 2AM. I screamed from my bed, and my brothers @Okeetairmmy and @OkeetaPharell woke up. I was in terrible pain, and eventually we found the scorpion and killed it. First, we applied onion juice, no relief. Then I tried to endure thinking the pain will go away shortly, but it intensified. I wanted to man-up so I went to the sitting room, placed throw pillows in my mouth and started screaming in excruciating pain. Our mother thought I was praying because the pillows were muffling the sound. After about two hours, I opened up and they drove me to a nearby Pharmacy. There, they injected Lidocaine in the area. The pain subsided significantly, and we returned home. About 30 minutes later, it resumed. I went back to the Pharmacy, and I think they gave me an analgesic. No way. I went to the clinic where I have health insurance, there was nothing they could do. People suggested black charcoal and many things nothing worked. I suffered that pain till about 5PM when it started subsiding. I couldn't sleep, work or stay put. It was one of the most terrible days in my life. So, I don't know that other guy, but I've PTSD from scorpions. Honestly, I don't think anything compares. 🫨🥹

This picture reminds me of one of my roommates in the hostel back in the day. He is a Tiv indigene—the first I’ve ever known. ​After our lectures, he told me he would prepare "swallow" for us to eat. I was happy because I didn't have the strength to cook after such long classes. When we got back to the room, he made eba and dished out pieces of meat onto a separate plate. I was about to go and wash my clothes, thinking he was still preparing the soup, only for him to tell me, "Food don ready." I said okay and followed him to his corner. ​Lo and behold, eba and meat were all this guy had prepared for us to eat! I asked him what kind of food this was, and he said it is a delicacy from his place. After two boluses of this dish, I couldn't continue. ​I appreciated him, but I ended up making spaghetti for myself. 😂

Trump played a fast one on Iran and they're just realising it now. 😂 Here's the gist... When IRAN started the escalation against the US-ISRAELI forces, Hezbollah rushed into the war and started sending missiles to Israel. Because they were fighting on the side of Iran. Remember, there's a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah (Lebanon) made in late 2024. Hezbollah violated this ceasefire agreement and attacked Israel with a barrage of missiles. In reply, Netayanhu mobilised his troops to Southern Lebanon, the stronghold of the Hezbollah and started engaging them seriously. He even deployed an Israeli special forces unit known as the Ergoz Unit for the capture of Hezbollah commanders. After bombing them to his satisfaction, Netayanhu continued to deploy his troops to Southern Lebanon in a strategic move to dislodge Hezbollah fighters from that area that borders Israel. Now, Iran pushed a ceasefire agreement to end escalations in the middle east, thinking that such a ceasefire would stop Netayanhu's occupation of Southern Lebanon and at least save the remaining Hezbollah fighters from Netayanhu's wrath. Netayanhu kept quiet. And watched the US and Israel agree on the ceasefire. Immediately, the ceasefire was approved, Netayanhu changed the direction of his missile launchers from Tehran to Southern Lebanon and began eliminating Hezbollah fighters. Hezbollah and Lebanon asked why they were being bombed, they thought there was a ceasefire; and Netayanhu said that's bullshit. The ceasefire is between the US and Iran; and not between Israel and Lebanon. Iran got infuriated and raised alarm over Israel's violation of the ceasefire. And the US just confirmed to Iran that truly, the ceasefire agreement does not include Lebanon and Israel escalation.

I received a call this morning that a childhood friend of mine is gone. He impregnated a lady. She gave birth and got stuck in the hospital. Bills unpaid. Pressure from the lady. Pressure from her mother. He reached out to me a few weeks ago. I sent him some money. His workmates said he had been thinking too much lately. He mentioned to them he was hypertensive. The last call he took was from the lady. After he dropped that call he fainted where he sat. Before they could get him to a hospital he was gone. This morning the lady was discharged.
