@peterjliu Will camera-only vision be sufficient for all weather & lighting conditions though?

I've tried Tesla's full-self driving v13 multiple times and am impressed. While you still need to pay attention, it shows meaningful progress toward level 5 autonomy. It also validates the hypothesis that camera-based vision (no LIDAR) is likely sufficient to drive and again the bitter lesson of AI.

Excited to share this fun new work on the 🩴FlipFlop Effect. In short: if you ask models if they're sure of their answers, they tend to change their minds (and severely degrade accuracy). What's mindblowing is how universal the effect is across LLMs (GPTs, Gemini, Claudes, …).
