Available for hire. 🤓 Not going to list ten buzzwords or claim I'm passionate about synergy. I ❤️ building things & have a long history of shipping working software = building teams. node/web/full stack. Remote or hybrid. DMs are open.

There's no way we get out of 2026 without OpenAI making similar moves to Anthro today. You simply cannot have extremely limited compute + effectively unlimited demand and expect tokens to stay subsidized, no matter how valuable it is to have the affinity of the once subsidized.

Hermes Agent is now #1 on the Global @OpenRouter token rankings. While our journey together has just begun, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank our contributors, supporters, and users for all they have done to get us this far.

@badlogicgames If we could convert this kind of entitlement to electricity, it could solve the compute energy constraints nicely...

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this. When I lead a larger team a few years back, there was a ton of pressure to move to weekly 1:1s. It was a hard line for me (and my team - they didn't want it either). ❤️1:1s are not "the mechanism to communicate with your team"❤️🎯🎯

I guess people dont read between the lines, but: 1. 1:1s are fine, weekly are not. Except in specific scenarios like new employees, pips 2. 1:1s are not "the mechanism to communicate with your team" 3. group sessions should replace most activities happening in weekly 1:1s
David Cramer@zeeg

If you’re a manager and you have weekly 1:1s with your reports you are wasting your time and their time You’re either misunderstanding the purpose of the 1:1, or you’re using it to discuss tactics that should be group sessions

Maybe this will change, but rn the probabilistic nature of "will my skills get invoked" feels a lot like Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox. It might get better, but at a certain scale, the risk of it not happening can't be ignored. Would love to know how your custom toggle stuff works

i think skills are a mistake and the wrong abstraction. i almost never want my agent auto invoking them and i have built custom tooling to "toggle" them on/off to prevent them from always being present in my context window.

Just learning about the tough news coming out of Cloudflare today. The folks I follow from there have been some of the most amazing ppl to watch and learn from. If you're one of them and I can ever help throw leads your way, DMs are open.

I like small plans (and I cannot lie) - and mainly just for small course corrections on nailing down a prototype. It may be a skill issue (pun intended?) on my part, but I've not had great success with long horizon build plans. I also really like to be in the feedback loop early

it is absolutely crazy to me that our entire industry has succumbed to hyper waterfall. because that's what ya'll are doing with your massive plans and beads and dark factories. have you learned nothing?
Matt Pocock@mattpocockuk

The more I replace plans with prototypes, the better the outputs Who'd have thought that low fidelity prototypes were better than walls of spec Oh yeah, the entire industry for 20 years Stop going against decades of knowledge because someone in SF shipped it as a 'mode'

don’t fall for the trap of waterfall development - our industry learned this lesson two decades ago. you can’t know and plan everything upfront - neither can agents.
