NDC'S LEADERSHIP BASED ON COURT ORDER. Clarification.. Seriake Dickson and a few persons started the journey of registering the NDC in 2017 under the leadership of the former INEC chairman prof M. Yakubu. After successfully registering the party, INEC challenged their use of two fingers in the Air ✌️ (Peace) as their logo. INEC claimed that the NDC's party logo resembles that of the APC's (broom) Note, this claim wasn't made by APC as a political party, neither did APC as a party challenged the NDC over the use of two fingers in the Air. It was solely INEC that raised that concern, and challenged the NDC on their own. INEC now mandated the NDC to change that logo, or it will delegitimize them as a political party. "That INEC will not recognise them as a political party unless they change that logo of two fingers in the Air ✌️ to something else". Mind you, when INEC was doing all of these, the NDC was just a mushroom party without any political presence. NDC as a small party wrote to INEC to clarify the issues concerning their logo, that it has nothing in semblance with that of the APC's logo, which is clearly a broom. Rather than seeing reasons with the NDC over their logo issue, INEC went ahead to enforce her early threat by delegitimizing the NDC. INEC refused to recognise NDC as a political party, or her leadership. NDC as a party felt they were being bullied by INEC over nothing. They were particularly confused over INEC's real interest in their logo, and that of the APC. They wondered why INEC was crying foul over their two fingers in the air logo, when the APC as a party has neither complained nor challenged the logo. Left with no option, the NDC headed to the Federal High Court to challenge INEC over the party's logo, their delegitimizing, and the none recognition of the party's leadership. The case dragged on until 2025 when the Federal High Court gave a clear ruling in favour of the NDC, haven been able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it's logo has no semblance with that of the APC. The court went further to order INEC to recognise NDC as a political party, accept her logo, and recognise her leadership. It was a straight judgement and order. INEC had a window free period to challenged that judgement, if it weren't satisfied with it. But rather than challenge the judgement, INEC now under the new leadership of prof Amupitan recognised NDC as a political party, accepted her logo, and recognized her leadership. It is based on that court judgement and order, you see on INEC's website, the names and positions of NDC leaders boldly written (BY COURT ORDER) Now the sweet part of this judgement/order is that, the only party or interst that can challenge this judgement is INEC. Not APC, not even the Attorney General of the Federation. The only legal interest in that case of NDC vs INEC is INEC. And the goodnews is, the legally approved window free period for INEC to appeal that judgement has elapsed. So INEC can not appeal that judgement again, or vacate that order. Moreover INEC has enforced the judgement of the Federal High Court. So there is no cause for alarm over NDC's leadership being displayed on INEC's website BY COURT ORDER. peace ✌ ✌ ✌ ✌ NDC

Incase Professor Joash Amupitan thinks he is denying that account in front of his kids 😂 Observe with me The 2FA procedure of the email registered to the now denied X account, brings you a certain phone number that ends with 99 Now, take a look at the phone number on Amupitan’s CV and what it ends with. Even his other email, which is an institutional email of UNIJOS happens to be the authentication backup email. Is this mere coincidence??😏🤷🏿

I sincerely thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for my ambassadorial posting. This is a man with a heart of gold, and as I have previously said, the President is a most Christlike individual, with the capacity to forgive and forbear. Nigeria could not have had a better leader for the present time and for the next five years, by the grace of God. I accept this appointment and posting to the glory of God and for the betterment of Nigeria, even as I pledge my unalloyed loyalty to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the custodian of the Constitution and the Head of State of Nigeria. I once again thank my foster parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who moulded me, as a piece of clay they received from God, into what I am today. Other than God, NO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS have been more responsible for making me into what I am today than these two angels, who in my mother tongue are referred to as my Olayemi. I thank my biological parents, both of whom are now deceased, Bemigho and Ochuko, through whom I came into this world. Even in death, I love you both. I thank my wife, Hana, who has filled me with such peace of mind since I met her, and has been an encourager and nurturer. May God bless my friend who sticks closer than a brother, Malam Nuhu Ribadu. Although I have said this publicly before, let me repeat it today. This is not hyperbole to me. If it were possible for all the goodness on Earth to be domiciled in a single human being, that person would be Malam. He is blind to religion, region, communion and ethnicity—a credit to Nigeria and humanity. Through him, God made it possible for me to be a Presidential spokesman. And today, without saying much, what I have left unsaid says it all. It is most fitting that this posting to the United Mexican States comes as I begin the six-day climb to Mount Kilimanjaro to hoist Nigeria's flag on the summit of Africa's highest mountain. As I take each step, I am reminded of how God, in His infinite mercies, has used President Bola Tinubu to reposition Nigeria for greatness, such that in 2025, as recently revealed by both the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, Nigeria, a country with just 2% of the world's population, was the sixth greatest contributor to global GDP. Nigeria is rising under the present administration, as demonstrated by the hosting of the largest single tourist event in Africa in 2025, Detty December, which attracted 1.2 million tourists to Nigeria in December 2025 alone, without a single death, robbery, or domestic incident. A sign that, though we may have localised challenges, Nigeria is a safe and secure destination for your holiday and investments, as well as a politically stable nation, and the only country in Africa where five former Presidents and Heads of State dwell in peace within the country with the incumbent President. I devote my life again and afresh to Nigeria to be faithful, loyal, and honest and to serve and market Nigeria to the best of my ability, so help me God. Ambassador Reno Omokri

I have officially notify the @EdoStateGovt, demanding without hesitation that a petition be transmitted to the Inspector General of Police @PoliceNG for the immediate arrest and interrogation of @PeterObi for his brazen violation of a duly proclaimed security directive. The Governor issued a clear, public, and unequivocal order: that Mr. Obi must seek and obtain security clearance before entering Edo State. That directive was neither ambiguous nor optional. It was lawful. It was deliberate. It was authoritative. Yet, in what can only be described as calculated defiance, Mr. Obi chose to disregard that order and force his entry into the State. This was not oversight. It was not ignorance. It was open provocation. No democratic society survives when political actors decide which laws to obey and which to trample upon. No State can maintain order when directives of its Chief Security Officer are treated as suggestions rather than commands. This is not about personality. This is about authority. This is about constitutional order. When a political figure publicly disregards a sitting governor’s security instruction, he is not merely challenging a man — he is challenging the structure of governance itself. Such audacity, if unchecked, breeds anarchy. And anarchy is the sworn enemy of democracy. Let me declare it with uncompromising clarity: We, as Niger Deltans and proud citizens of the South-South, will not permit any individual — no matter how politically visible — to undermine, ridicule, or disrespect our governors. Authority must be respected. Law must be obeyed. Order must be preserved. For too long, the Nigerian State has exercised patience. Patience, however, must never degenerate into permissiveness. The time for indifference has expired. If laws are breached, consequences must follow. If directives are flouted, accountability must be enforced. No citizen stands above the law. No ambition supersedes constitutional authority. No political stature grants immunity from obedience. If Nigeria is to function as a sovereign republic, then the rule of law must be ironclad — not ornamental. Let the message resound across the Federation: defiance of lawful authority will be met with lawful consequences. God bless the Niger Delta (SS) God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

A king in Yoruba land was murdered in his palace, in his community, on Yoruba soil. Not just any Yoruba man, but a king! Guess what? No outrage whatsoever from my Yoruba people. They've cowed into their shell like a menstruating tortoise. An attack right on your own soil for God's sake. But because you want to defend your Jeroboam in Aso rock, you're mute! You could attack the Igbos all day who have done nothing but contribute immensely to the growth and prosperity of Nigeria. But will turn blind eyes and deaf ears because the attrocity is committed by Fulani Jihadists. You all are despicable. I hope a day wouldn't come where is will be said, Yoruba/Fulani just like we have Hausa/Fulani. Yeye fowls!

Today, in continuation of our inspection of high-priority projects in the FCT, we inspected the road projects linking the Abuja Airport Expressway to Kuje and Gwagwalada. I am happy that the Airport road to Kuje project, has exceeded 77% completion, while the Kuje to Gwagwalada road is currently estimated at nearly 65% completion. Once completed, the roads will allow travelers from Gwagwalada to the city center to bypass the main airport road entirely. The road projects are expected to be ready for commissioning by June 2026.

Nnamdi Kanu Files Appeal Against Terrorism Conviction, Raises Due Process and Evidence Concerns By Njoku Jude Njoku, Esq. On 4 February 2026, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu filed a Notice of Appeal at the Court of Appeal, Abuja, challenging his terrorism conviction and life sentences imposed by the Federal High Court on 20 November 2025. Kanu was convicted on seven terrorism-related counts, including alleged broadcasts, incitement, bomb-making directives, and unlawful importation of a radio transmitter. Most counts attracted life imprisonment, with all sentences ordered to run concurrently. The appeal, however, is not a routine post-conviction filing. A Compressed but Far-Reaching Legal Challenge Although the Notice of Appeal contains 22 grounds, the defence describes it as a highly compressed legal challenge. According to the defence team, the grounds represent the distilled outcome of an extensive review that initially identified over 1,000 procedural and legal defects, refined into 101 core infractions, and ultimately streamlined to 22 issues to comply with appellate rules and avoid prolixity. The strategy, they say, is to present the Court of Appeal with a clear picture of cumulative systemic failure, rather than overwhelm it with volume. Central Issues Raised in the Appeal The grounds of appeal highlight several recurring themes. Forced Disruption and the “Flight” Narrative The appeal challenges the trial court’s failure to address the legal consequences of the 2017 military invasion of Kanu’s home (Operation Python Dance II), which resulted in deaths and destruction. The defence argues that Kanu’s subsequent absence from Nigeria was a compelled response to state violence, yet it was portrayed as voluntary “flight” and used to draw adverse inferences during trial. Denial of Fair Hearing Multiple grounds allege breaches of Section 36 of the Constitution, including failure to hear a pending preliminary objection, leaving a bail application undecided, and delivering judgment without allowing the defence to file a final written address. Conviction Without Proof A core feature of the appeal is evidential failure. The defence argues that: No victim testified to intimidation, violence, or harm. No witness confirmed hearing or being influenced by alleged broadcasts. No bomb was produced, no act of manufacture was proved, and no causal link was established. The defence characterises the outcome as conviction without proof beyond reasonable doubt. Reliance on Unpleaded and Unproved Facts The appeal also alleges that the trial court relied on facts not pleaded in the charge sheet and not proved in evidence, including references to alleged attacks on United States and United Kingdom diplomatic missions. The defence argues that criminal convictions must rest strictly on pleaded and proved facts, not extraneous narratives. Statutory Defects and Sentencing Irregularities The appeal challenges convictions entered under a terrorism statute that had been repealed before judgment, despite settled authority that courts cannot convict under a non-existent law. In addition, Count 7 (importation of a radio transmitter) is challenged as being statute-barred, founded on a penal statute with a limited maximum sentence which, according to the defence, Kanu has already exceeded in custody. The defence argues that conviction and sentencing on that count were therefore unlawful. What Happens Next The Court of Appeal is expected to receive the Record of Appeal before fixing hearing dates. The case now places renewed scrutiny on due process, evidentiary standards, statutory compliance, and judicial accountability in Nigeria, especially around politically motivated "terrorism" prosecutions. @StateDept @EU_Commission @FCDOGovUK @SaharaReporters @DailyPostNGR @GuardianNigeria @LeadershipNGA

A lady needs your advice 👇👇 I bought a house earlier this year. My husband is not aware. My reason is he is not stable in the marriage . His stance on so many things scares me. But my mother said I should tell him that it will make him love me more. She said I can even put both our names on it. My mother is not my role model at all because she saw shege and never did she complain . But my pastor also said same and that’s where my confusion is right now. I need your advice.

Christmas is a Pagan Celebration? It is no longer news that some Christian churches or groups do not celebrate Christmas. That shouldn't be a problem because people have the right to choose what to believe or do in religion. What i actually find disturbing and intellectually absurd is the reason they reject Christmas. While some say it is not in the bible, others say it is of pagan origin. Are they right, wrong or guilty of cognitive dissonance? On a typical Christmas day, Christians go to church to worship God same way they worship him every other Sunday. In the catholic church we celebrate the mass. Readings are taken from the bible same way it is done on a sunday. They are carefully selected to focus on Jesus' birth as recorded in the bible. Homily is given based on the texts read. Profession of faith follows. Prayers of the faithful and every other thing as it is done on a regular Sunday mass. I guess similar thing happens in the Protestant and pentecostal churches too: they gather as they gather on a Sunday, take readings from the Bible, preach, pray, praise and worship same God in the same way they always do on a sunday. Please tell me, what exactly makes any of the above 'unbiblical' or paganistic? On Christmas day, do the churches that celebrate it replace the name of Christ Jesus with any other deity or read from another book other than the bible or change their rituals of worship to something totally different from what they always do? If the celebration of Christmas is pagan and unbiblical, then what we do every Sunday is unbiblical and paganistic, and this includes those Christians who do not celebrate Christmas because of the aforementioned reasons. Or is their problem the rice we eat on Christmas day? We eat rice on sundays generally. Is it the drinks or the new clothes? People still buy new clothes for normal sundays, even though all of these( the parties, new clothes, drinks, fanfares etc are not integral parts of Christmas, those are the added celebrations people do, and there's nothing wrong with them when done morally). Is it the accelerated help to the poor and other charitable outreach people do at Christmas that makes this group call it 'unbiblical'? I just want to know what exactly we do at church on Christmas day that is unbiblical bikonu. While I'm waiting for the opponents of Christmas celebration to point out what exactly they find in it as unbiblical, I want to tell them that if Christmas is unbiblical, unchristian and paganistic, so is their regular Sunday worship, they should stop that one too.

All the accounts owned by Nigerians that supported Burkina Faso against Nigeria are owned by IBOS..
