This "debate" shows how low Bible knowledge is today. One of the most repeated and crystal-clear truths in the New Testament is that you're saved by faith in Jesus alone apart from works, but genuine saving faith always results in a life marked by good works. It's that simple.

A person is not justified before God by faith alone. That’s according to James in the only verse out of 31,000 verses in Bible that actually says the phrase “faith alone”.

I spend many a sleepless nights laying awake questioning weather I actually know God and am saved or if its just a part I play. What does it mean to have a personal relationship with God?
