@mds @openclaw Feel exactly the same. Most powerful when piloting a couple instances. Openclaw feels like overkill unless there are ultra specific tasks. I don’t think productivity is the bottleneck that needs to be solved. Would like to hear more use cases you’ve found useful?

I’ve accidentally spent $80/day multiple times fiddling with my @openclaw setup I’ve created skills to launch terminal on my Mac Mini and use Claude Code Opus 4.6 there instead of spawning OpenClaw agents Which is a hacky way to use my Claude Max plan instead of the API That works sometimes… I’ve dabbled with using different models as the primary agent, setup multiple workspaces for me and my wife I have some some decent automations setup with a ton of APIs I’ve built little apps BUT… I keep oscillating between, “this is amazing and the future” and “this is wasting my time I have more important things to do” Having agents “work 24/7” doesn’t necessarily mean they’re instantly creating more value “Increased efficiency” isn’t actually anyone’s true end goal I feel most powerful running my own few instances of Claude Code where i’m truly piloting them But even then there’s a risk of thinking “i’m being very productive because Im using AI” But again, define “efficient” and “productive” as it relates to your ultimate goal (making money?) And see if it’s truly optimized The tools we have available right now are ridiculously good Reminder that when you’re learning something new you will do it wrong over and over until eventually it starts to click Eventually you’ll do it less wrong This is not a post telling you what to do or not do with AI Just a brain dump Stay vigilant out there 🫡

Would like to raise money for this org that helps hundreds of cats per year. If you donate at least $10 and post a screenshot in my replies, I'll answer a style-related question for you. Their donation info is linked at the end of their thread (promise no nasty pics in there).
Bradford Cat Watch Rescue@BCWRkittens

New arrival at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary. This is little Conga. Conga was brought to us yesterday afternoon following being found injured under a car. We rushed Conga up to the vets immediately on arrival as she appeared very shocky and needed urgent assessment.

@whale Same bullshit across the pond. These days I go to vans for their plain tees (I like them looser). Muji if I need a tighter undershirt. Or… I actually found a printful tee I really like. Considering making my own. Everything else I’m going Carhartt, Champion, Hilfiger

Yo dudes who love comfort, fashion, and quality. Where are you finding it? I used to shop huckberry, outerknown, and Taylor Stitch, but they tend toward more structured less comfort oriented clothing. Here are some examples of the style I'm aiming at.

@ugmonk - YouTube behind the brand - Explore driving referrals (goal: get every customer to bring in another). - Product as marketing (build something free) FWIW I think you have a position as a tastemaker you could double down on A bit dated but the book Traction is worth a read too

This might be opening up a can of worms but here's my current situation: - I love designing products - Our customers genuinely love our products and we have a super passionate fan base - We've struggled to find a consistent way to acquire new customers (Meta ads used to work but keep getting worse) - We are a small team of 3 and completely bootstrapped - We are currently 99% DTC I'm not looking for fast growth or huge scale but trying to find a steady way to cover Opex and keep the lights on so I can focus my time on bringing new products to market. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I’m not just guessing here. We’ve tested scenarios like this multiple times, and the same thing always happens: Customers see that free-shipping threshold sitting just above the sale price, roll their eyes, and abandon their carts. It’s not about tricking people into spending more money. It’s about giving them a smooth, frustration-free shopping experience. That’s what real CRO is. When your $49 sale item has free shipping locked behind $50, it feels like a cheap move - one that erodes trust. If you align the free shipping threshold with your most common price point, you’ll not only keep customers happier, you’ll see higher conversion rates too. Because at the end of the day, good user experience is what actually drives profits.

Never do this to your customers. Most of The Oddie's sale items are $49. But free shipping starts at $50. That’s a terrible user experience. It’s costing them trust and money.

@Jamayal 2nd better but you could go simpler or more emphasis on value. 1. Client call to brief in one click (makes it tangible) 2. Stop wasting time writing briefs (actual value) 3. Client call -> Brief (what it does in fewest words) Maybe add a single sub-line in too

@helloitsolly @SenjaHQ I’d go more abstract. Single testimonial cards (different styles showing different things) animating one at a time. Basically one feature/usp call out per card. Shown one at a time

I can't get this right I am trying to create a SINGLE annotated visual that showcases what makes @SenjaHQ awesome I want this to communicate our key features on our landing page This is what I have - how can I improve it? Perhaps it's too detailed? Or would be better as several images?

@whale @klaviyo @Ghost does this exact thing I believe, but obv everything would need to be run there. Newsletters would need to be simplified a bit. To keep it in Shopify — probably would revolve some grabbing the html and then posting to blog via Shopify API (via openai for parsing)

I want to build a tool/app that indexes newsletters (in this case, that I write for Wimp) and can create output that could then be placed in a front end on Wimp's site. Suprisingly @klaviyo doesn't have the functionality for this currently. I'm guessing that building this using AI is easier than it's ever been. How would you all go about doing this?

@shanerostad @matthewsmith I’ll add on to this. Native one is great but… Customers can’t change their order by default and things like that. Good news (but I haven’t done yet) is you can build those things into accounts 2.0 your own. Much more preferable to use native. Shit just works

I think the rise of fitness, a lot thanks to podcasts and social media, is one positive reason why people stopped drinking It's hard to get wasted and then workout the next day This is Sunday Service by ⚡️ Cult in Phuket, Thailand A massive 100+ group HIIT workout class
@levelsio@levelsio

Nobody I know around me drinks anymore Only people I know who still drink are boomers People around me do weed sometimes, and a few do psychedelics and that's it Everybody has stories of families ripped apart by alcohol, some have had family members dying from alcohol etc. Alcohol is a highly addictive hard drug that almost nobody is able to use in moderation as it's so powerful and addictive Good riddance

@ron_ecomm Strongly back this opinion. Ecom and d2c in general sweep ethics to the side most of the time. Too many marketers involved. No-one cares what they are selling.

as a veterinarian, i strongly dislike PetLabCo because they are borderlining on scamming people. it is what happens when marketing is purely performance focused with zero ethical considerations as a marketer, their funnel is sure beautiful
