#vibejam update. this is my new starting point. okay, i knew building a decent online multiplayer fps game would be *really* tough. i spec'ed it out with grok and spent the last 2 days and ~20 hours and hundreds of prompts with claude to get what i thought would be a decent foundation. but i unsurprisingly hit bottlenecks in performance early (with ~100 bots as simulated players). i'm officially scrapping my original build and starting today with @hytopia . read up on it last night to get an idea of how it works, and was able to create a massive markdown file with their sdk docs. @cursor_ai + claude seem to handle parsing this markdown file well. we'll see how it does the rest of the day. but i don't think i've been this excited about something in a while! let's see what i can do with this in the next few days!

Grok 3 is an incredible AI coding assistant. After a couple of hours and +1000 lines of code generated, I have now a fully functional 2D vertical jumping game. With different heroes, monsters, platforms, difficulties, and lives. Here are the prompts and process I followed:
