Hi Flint Dibble here. I teach ancient history and archaeology at Cardiff University I recently published a video debunking Professor Jiang on a variety of historical topics: youtu.be/tSiS-8Msn1I?si… In summary: 1. "Professor" Jiang Xueqin is not a professor. He teaches at Moonshot Academy, a High School in Beijing. He has no advanced degrees, just a BA in English literature, which itself is irrelevant to the topics he talks on. He has no documented history teaching at a university level. 2. He applies what he calls "game theory" to the past, present, and future. We can test his analytical model on the claims he makes for history by comparing it to our evidence. As you'll see, doing so reveals the shortcomings of his model. The most important shortcoming is that he actively rejects evidence. 3. He makes a wide variety of nonsensical assertions about history.an obvious one is his claim that the Holocaust has no concrete evidence (false given we have material, photographic, documentary, and eyewitness accounts). 4. He accepts evolution for all organisms except humans. Why? Because he sees it as a problem that there's not more diversity in human populations, specifically stating he'd expect humans to have three eyes or six fingers like other animals. Such statements reveal he is just making stuff up as he goes as no animals have six fingers and three eyes. He just says silly stuff without any justification. 5. I walk through in depth his false claims about Roman history, which he calls "nonsense." He believes Hannibal Barca was an invented figure. Why? Because Jiang says Barca did not have a "messiah complex." Again. This is simply making stuff up without evidence. 6. Jiang's ideas are dangerous conspiracy theories. He traffic's in antisemitic conspiracies such as Holocaust denial. On Piers Morgan he claimed a variety of Jewish elites control the world. And when asked if that was antisemitic, his response was that five years ago it would have been, but today not. News flash: what was antisemitic five years ago is still antisemitic today. 7. He openly admits his analysis is not grounded in historical documentation but is rather "speculative." He claims he gets ideas by channeling a higher force, and in one interview suggests he was visited by angels. He proudly claims about his research and lecturing process and how it involves no research. In conclusion, nothing the so-called "Professor" Jiang says should be taken seriously. Receipts and clips of all these claims are in the video linked above.
