There’s a time and place for everything, but until you’ve got your Majors dialed in, there’s no minor trick or magic formula that will take you where you need to go Majors > minors

Minors: - Supplements - Minor movements - Weighing your food (controversial) - taping mouth during sleep - Carb Timing / Cycling

“Don’t major in the minors” and “Can’t decorate a cake before you bake it” are two commons phrases I hear coaches tell their clients. V true, not only in the gym but also in every day life. Here are some examples of both 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

@CoachFHM So true on all levels! Not even just time wise, but micro doses of everything A 15minute workout today is better than nothing $20 invested this month is better than $0 All small things will add up over time, one way or another! In-action is still a decision

Biggest mistake you can get lulled into is thinking you have “time” It’s absolute bollocks. I’m gonna be 30 this year and remember being 18-21 like it was yesterday. Don’t be wasting your days doing stupid shit. Start building NOW. Don’t wanna end up being that fella mid 30’s living with his parents doing fuck all.

@GaintrustMikey Absolutely. Especially with weighing & measuring food. Nothing more disappointing than seeing the actual serving size of shredded cheese 😭😭😭 In all seriousness though, if everyone saw how many calories their morning coffee was, or any type of chip / sweet, they’d be appalled

If people simply tracked everything they ate, they would for sure make a lot of healthier choices. This is where future tech has me optimistic. Effortless tracking of everything you eat, many people would make better choices.

@MorganAgran Gotta be broccoli heads. Especially when they herd up The second a group of them gather around a piece of equipment, no one else is using that anymore Even worse when it’s in front of the dumbbell rack / mirrors

Hopefully this helps someone! The biggest reminder is that it doesn’t take rocket science to get back on track! Hit your routine like normal, with maybe a few tweaks, and tomorrow’s scale will look like Saturday’s

5) High protein and fiber diet Protein for my metabolism post-fasting. For me, about 200g Fiber to keep everything moving through GI track. For me, about 20g

3) Hitting the gym, per usual Per usual is KEY here. Dont overdue it, you’ll never outwork a bad diet anyways. Know how long it’d take to burn every calorie you ate yesterday? Not possible Go hard, and the extra cals should allow a great workout, but nothing special or extra

2) I’m doing a 16ish (maybe 18) hour fast Water & Black coffee only. Going to give the GI track time to do its job and handle the extra food. This alone should help reset Blood Sugar levels too

1) Don’t be mad at yourself, OR the food you ate Developing this pattern after a “binge”, or any surplus for that matter, is not healthy! If you had a good time with family / friends yesterday, then Step 1 is to understand it’s okay! Part of the journey is enjoying the stops

Not a big fan of audiobooks, but they add value to my walks so I’ve been taking advantage. Keep telling yourself myself “this is the last business book,” only to get another. Any recommendations on non-business books that add value?

Get Bigger Quads: There’s an easy trick to grow bigger quads and strengthen/tighten your core at the same time but you rarely see anyone doing it; probably because it sucks. ~12-15 rep front squat sets, ass to grass with no top lockout to keep stress on the quads.
