President @TokayevKZ welcomed the Peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia, reached in Washington, as a historic milestone. The trilateral joint declaration signed in @whitehouse puts an end to decades of bitter conflict between the two nations and paves the way to diplomatic relations and cooperation built on a foundation of lasting peace. President Tokayev emphasized that this breakthrough was made possible through the active and effective mediation of U.S. President @RealDonaldTrump, who succeeded in persuading both leaders to show political will and strategic foresight. He also highlighted Kazakhstan’s valuable contribution to advancing the peace process, noting that Almaty served as a platform for high-level negotiations between the foreign ministers of 🇦🇿 and 🇦🇲 on the key provisions of the treaty.
