Here's a question for you all (especially those who know much more than me about these things). This is a charge point at Shenfield station. 1. Can you even use it as it's a disabled space? 2. How do you get it to work? 3. How do you pay? My suspicion is that it's never been made to work and no one uses it, but curious to know.

@5By5Creativity He wasn't incapacitated, though. He still had the weapon. Would you prefer the suspect be allowed to get up, advance on them again and get shot by armed police when they arrive seconds later - or do you want less lethal?

If UK police are trained to kick people repeatedly in the head after they’ve been tasered and incapacitated, we should be given details. How long has it been so, who trains them to do it ‘safely’ to avoid police themselves being murderers, when it’s happened, how it’s regulated.

@harriepw OK, let's imagine they didn't take decisive action and the terrorist was still up + advancing on police when armed back-up arrives. He may have been shot dead. What do you want, lethal force or less lethal? I don't mind in this case, as long as the police do what has to be done!

@BeadleDarren @BethRigby @SkyNews @ZackPolanski Incorrect. He was tasered, but was not handcuffed at that point and still had hold of the knife which he refused to let go of, at the time they used tactical strikes. Watch the video again and see if you can assess it better next time 😉

Someone needs to gather some actual evidence because tbh - having caught a lot of shoplifters - the perception of risk is way overblown and everyone's just nodding along to shirk their responsibility.

Three-month-old baby girl mauled to death by a 'bully type' dog yesterday while being looked after by a friend at a property on Hardale Drive, Redcar, North Yorkshire. Attack happened around 1:30pm, two dogs involved, neither illegal breed. 45-year-old man arrested on suspicion of having a dangerously out of control dog causing injury resulting in death; released on conditional bail. One dog detained and destroyed, the other shot dead by Cleveland Police at the scene. Heartbreaking tragedy for the family.
