Lucy Powell has been the Labour MP for Manchester Central since 2012 and is currently Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Where to begin? The Gorton & Denton by-election? My abiding memory is not so much Hannah Spencer causing a significant upset but the abysmal, negative campaign run by Labour. A campaign that was coordinated by Lucy Powell.
