Our paper "Generative Retrieval as Multi-Vector Dense Retrieval" w/ @zhaochun_ren @jayren3 @mdr has been accepted at #SIGIR2024 @SIGIRConf! We reveal that generative retrieval (GR) & multi-vector dense retrieval (MVDR) share the same framework for modeling query-doc relevance.
