Unpopular take: bat speed data has made early season fantasy analysis much worse. It was never good - it’s hard - but it’s worse now.

@alpacinogrunt Is this counting HBP as outs or removing them as PAs

Caleb Durbin had a .284 OBP last year not counting HBPs. Him getting plunked 24 times raised his OBP .050 points!!! Literally a .670 OPS guy without pitchers somehow plunking the 5-6 guy once a week.

He was a bad offensive player last year too. Steering into run prevention to the point of nerfing your lineup is ass backwards. It was in the offseason and still is.
