@Jas_Athwal You need to stand up In parliament and tell everyone you were fooled by Islamist liars. All holy sites are closed to all faiths because Iran is firing cluster bombs at the Old City with no shelters to keep everyone safe. It is a measure to save lives. Why are you so mendacious?

Missile debris just landed in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, where religious gatherings have ALSO been restricted to save the lives of peoples of ALL religions who live harmoniously in Jerusalem. Jews cannot gather either at public holy sites. But you don't care. You want the clicks and the Jew-obsessed votes.

Amazing letter by @Cornell President rejecting the resolution. Should be read by all: Dear Zora, Thank you for conveying SA Resolution 61: Calling for the Termination of Cornell University’s Partnership with the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology While Preserving Cornell Tech. I reject this resolution, which fundamentally conflicts with Cornell’s principles of academic collaboration and our core commitment to academic freedom. Cornell Tech is not a political entity. It is an academic partnership, created through shared investment by Cornell University, the Technion, and the City of New York for the benefit of the city and the state, according to a negotiated set of conditions that govern its development and the terms of its 99-year ground lease on Roosevelt Island. As one of Cornell University’s many international partnerships and collaborations, Cornell Tech deepens, enriches, and strengthens the ability of our students, faculty, and staff to pursue knowledge and advance the university’s academic mission. The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, the core international partnership upon which Cornell Tech is based, is an extraordinarily valuable collaboration focusing on education and research in health tech, media tech, and urban tech, and supporting the development of new startup companies. Severing our relationship with the Technion—or with any entity affiliated with governments, institutions, or enterprises with which some of our community members disagree—as a statement of political protest, would not only hinder our research, teaching, and public engagement; it would imperil our academic principles. Our university, like all of our peer institutions, regularly faces pressure—from across the political spectrum, from within and beyond our own community—to make academic decisions according to political priorities. The phenomenon is not a new one: universities have grappled with such pressures from governments and societies for as long as the institution of the university has existed. When we yield to these pressures and proscribe specific collaborations or collaborators on grounds other than merit, we compromise our principles of academic freedom, undermine our own institutional excellence, and damage public trust in our work.   Moreover, this resolution inaccurately asserts that “the continued operation of Cornell Tech as a Cornell University campus does not require an ongoing partnership with the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.” Cornell Tech, while part of Cornell, is a joint effort of the university, the Technion, and the City of New York. It is no more possible for Cornell to unilaterally terminate that effort and claim full control of the campus than it would be for the Technion or the City of New York to do the same. Finally, I am deeply troubled by the selective manner in which this resolution singles out the Technion, alone of Cornell’s many international partners, for censure. Cornell currently maintains 159 active agreements with institutions in 59 nations and regions; all of these institutions have some government affiliation, and many conduct research with military and security applications. Cornell itself has military research contracts, conducts research with potential military applications, and has relationships with companies whose products are used in military contexts. Cornell also has relationships with institutions in countries whose governments have been accused of human rights violations—as our own has been.  None of these publicly available facts are mentioned in the resolution; only our partnership with an Israeli institution is targeted for erasure. The political bias evident in this selective approach is deeply disturbing, and the resolution is incompatible with both the Student Assembly’s purpose and Cornell University’s core values. I reject it fully and forcefully. Sincerely,   Michael Kotlikoff President and Professor of Molecular Physiology Cornell University

A survivor of 7 October says she doesn’t feel safe in Britain. That should shame this Government. You don’t ‘stand with Jews’ only after violence, you stop the hatred that leads to it. Instead, they’ve allowed it to grow on our streets.
Campaign Against Antisemitism@antisemitism

“I cannot feel safe in a country that normalises this kind of behaviour.” The only known UK-based British-Israeli survivor of the 7th October Hamas attacks has stated that she “was abandoned by the British government”, and sees “antisemitism running riot” in this country. Anat Ron-Kendall, who has lived in Oxford for over 30 years, provided testimony to Lord Roberts’ updated report on the atrocities committed by Hamas on 7th October 2023. She was there at the time to visit her parents in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, where she spent her childhood. Ms Ron-Kendall’s testimony details her harrowing experiences of being trapped in a safe room for twelve hours before being rescued, as Hamas terrorists ravaged the kibbutz: “we just sat there waiting. To be shot.” In her testimony she acknowledges the current climate of antisemitism in the UK, and states “I cannot feel safe in a country that normalises this kind of behaviour.” From antisemitism on our streets to TV screens, campuses to social media, and plots to murder Jews in synagogues, the Jewish community is living through a terrible period in the UK. A clear majority of British Jews have considered leaving the country due to antisemitism concerns in the past two years, according to our polling. Ms Ron-Kendall’s testimony, and the way she feels she was treated by the British Government following her ordeal, is a powerful example of how British Jews are feeling right now. thejc.com/news/uk/britis…

So Israel can eliminate Khamenei, Nasrallah, and Larijani in their secret hideouts but cannot hit a journalist standing still in open air? If Israel wanted him gone, he’d be gone, but he wasn’t the target, he just didn’t heed Israeli instructions to stay safe, away from targets
RT@RT_com

This was a DELIBERATE TARGETED ATTACK on journalists there's no mistake about it. This was an Israeli precision strike FROM A FIGHTER JET — RT corr Steve Sweeney who was wounded earlier today ‘If they think that they're going to silence us, they're very, very much mistaken’

Arab antiquity robbers were caught last week red-handed digging out and stealing from graves dating to the Second Temple period near Shechem. Tell me again how "indigenous" these people are that they consistently destroy the history of this land?!

Two men have appeared in court accused of spying on targets including London's Jewish community centre on behalf of Iran. The centre has to spend £600,000 not on its arts/interfaith work/food bank but security to stop people murdering its visitors. How has this been normalised?

Christiane Amanpour engaging in full on regime propaganda here "Iran (the regime) is in the driving seat" "Larijani was the favoured transition candidate" Complete and utter nonsense.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

Absolute bombshell. Christiane Amanpour confirms that US and Israeli analysts admit Iran is firmly in the driving seat of this war. She also reveals the assassinated Iranian negotiator was actually their favored candidate for a transition.

Dear @AlboMP. I'm sorry you and Tony Burke were nearly lynched at Lakemba Mosque this morning. I guess issuing 3,000 visas to Gaza, recognising 'Palestine' and throwing millions of dollars at certain groups didn't pay off. On behalf of the Jewish Community, I'd like to invite you to any Synagogue in the country tonight for the Friday night service. Sure, a huge number of the Jewish Community are deeply upset at you and disgusted by the direction of this country. Really, really upset. However beyond some murmurs from the crowd you won't be in any actual danger. None. You'll even get a glass of wine and you can even leave your police protection detail outside. Or in the car as usual because they know you would be safer inside a Synagogue than walking through Bondi. Plus they will get to keep their boots on this time! If you'd like, you can address the congregation. Perhaps a line or two about 'social cohesion' or perhaps the huge contribution the Jewish Community have made to Australia. Maybe something about Passover. That always plays well. Or perhaps announce you're chucking another few million dollars at Jewish security, rather than chucking a few people out of the country. Anyway, let me know what time we can expect you. Good shabbos. Daniel Lewkovitz.
