Last week Sammy and I added 3 players in FAAB and started all 3 this week in our Main Event. Luis Campusano: 3 R, 2 HR, 3 RBI, .625 AVG Ildemaro Vargas: 7 R, 4 HR, 12 RBI, .364 AVG Louis Varland: 4 IP, 7 K, 2.25 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 3 Saves Solid ROI.

@SteelCitySluggs I had c-elig Herrera well ahead in the offseason. He looks good under the hood, but results have been meh. Willing to stick with him bc he’s playing everyday and hitting 2nd. Jensen showing good power but will likely have fewer PA, lower avg, and fewer sb (I think)

I can’t decided, let’s see if anyone out there sees this and wants to weigh in. Carter Jensen or Ivan Herrera ROS? Points league, no K penalty. HRs are the key, as well as getting on base (obviously). Thoughts?

@RedFoxRoto Leiter had a 25% K-BB rate in 2024 despite an 89 stuff+.. dude's got some veteran smoke & mirrors going on. Sterner has slightly better underlying skills but they seem to like him early. The other 2 walk too many imo.

Mark Leiter Jr. got the first A's save last night. Don't rush to your waiver wires for him. This is likely to be a fluid bullpen with no set closer, and there's no single option worth rostering for ratios/K's if they're not getting 50% or more of the saves.
