This sucks. It also happened not far from me. Clearly he was scared and didn't want to go back to prison after the horrific treatment the feds subjected him to. This crap will have long lasting repercussions on our society.

@DeTix_Tony @vmarks @amazon Never did figure it out. Amazon doesn't give you enough diagnostic information to really be able to figure much out about the attacks yourself.
My suspicion is it was somebody who intercepted some traffic and tried some sort of credential replay attack, but I don't really know.

I just had 2 instances like this. One yesterday when I was trying to sign into the account 2 days ago. And another 2 hours ago? Super fishy and weird. Definitely will update my security.

There might be some shenanigans going on at @Amazon today. This is the second warning I've gotten like this today; and yes, they're legit warnings from Amazon, not counterfeit phish.
The other warning was for a "generic Android 10" device in North Carolina.
