Your authors reject immediate revelation/testimony and instead affirm mediate testimony. In this case there is no actual faith but just a judgement. I’m not saying you guys have no idea what the canon is. I’m saying you don’t have a consistent way of making an act of faith. Here are a few authors. “Recognition”, “conclude”, etc. is not language pertaining to the assent of faith but of a judgement.
