@ThisIsCindyLou @JustAMomNamedMM The hot flashes. My gawd! Imagine starting a fire ON THE INSIDE of your body and it slowly burns its way out. Sweat, flush cheeks, just straight up hot AF and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Worst part is waking up in a pool of sweat even though it’s -55 in my house!

I really wish that someone had talked about perimenopause when I was younger. Like I never heard any woman ever talk about it. Not ever. That pisses me off. They should have been warning us girls how bad it was going to be. Instead, we stumble into it blindly

There are many different types varying in cost, fast acting, slow acting etc. I know of at least 3 people that don't take the one they need due to costs and make do with ones that don't suit them but keep them alive

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

@HRH_SHP @KeruboSk There is 4 of us in the group. She was an amazing mum, supported by her parents as well as our group of friends. Her daughter is an amazing young adult, she graduated uni at the top of her class and is currently pregnant with her and her husband's first child

@HRH_SHP @KeruboSk Yep a friend of mine gave birth to her daughter just 3 days before she turned 16. We had a bunch of parents forbid their kids to stay friends with her. Thankfully mine weren't a part of it and encouraged me to stay friends with her if I wanted. We are still friends now in our 40s

@BrisMarSci @Sarah_Haar_ We did similar to our next door neighbour when he first moved in! When he moved in he had just arrived from overseas, spoke english but had no idea about slang words etc. Fast forward a decade to now, he is now a citizen and has a beautiful wife and baby

@Sarah_Haar_ It’s wonderful when you have great neighbours. I am lucky - my neighbours have basically adopted me and make it their mission to keep me alive and only partly damaged most of the time.

My new neighbour just yelled out to me from where our garages meet. Gave me 2 bags of spring rolls him & his grandma made. Nodded at me & said “Little ones are proper Viet ones. Big ones are cheeseburger flavour I think your kids will like”. LETSSS FFF GOOOO YAASSSS!! 🔥🐴

@LorraineLozza75 Oh that’s hard. You deserve much better. My Mum passed with her favourite child. Spoiled him to death. I said my goodbyes last weekend. She left me hurt and appalled by her hateful behaviour.

Trying not to be absorbed by my mother’s passing today. My sister informed me, by this afternoon my mother would have peacefully passed away. She didn’t live peacefully. In fact I’m conflicted by her cruelty towards me & siblings. Love was tainted and used against us.
