@farmingandJesus @DanSanchez @RealCandaceO Clearly you don’t know what intercession is, or the actual definition of Pray. Pray ≠ worship. Bless your heart.
English

@DanSanchez @RealCandaceO You pray to a woman. Sit this out champ.

@kash070308 @RealCandaceO @GoMax910 Catholics worship others besides jesus like saints and mother mary. Catolics believe u must confess your sins to the priest, only then can you be forgiven. The catholic church used to make money this way; you could pay to be forgiven.

Spoke with the Priest at my local Church today and honestly I want to cry
It seems like I might have to wait two more years for the Sacraments.
OCIA doesn’t start until August. I’ve finally tracked down my (unfortunately still legal) wife whom I’ve been separated from for 10 years.
And my Priest told me it could be up to a year for an annulment with not even that guaranteed.
And if it IS granted I have to marry the mother of my children (which I already intend to do) as quickly as possible meaning a beautiful wedding takes backseat over court house “one and done”
The mistakes of my past just won’t leave me alone. Talk about spiritual warfare. If I wasn’t so certain in the One True Church I’d probably just give up 😭
I just wanna go home guys

Thomas Massie just declared: “This government is under siege.”
And he exposed Susie Wiles and Pam Bondi for taking “millions of dollars from Bayer.”
“All three branches of this government are under siege by lobbyists and lawyers from a German company named Bayer.”
“They spent over $9 million lobbying … so that they don’t have to be liable for any damages their herbicide Roundup causes.”
“The Constitution guarantees people a trial if they’ve been harmed.”
“Why are we contemplating going against the Constitution?”
“The Attorney General has opined favorably for this German company in front of the Supreme Court about getting rid of any liability that they should have for any damages.”
“By the way, the President’s Chief of Staff and the President’s Attorney General worked for one of the biggest lobbying firms that’s received millions of dollars from Bayer.”
“Maybe that’s why we’ve seen an executive order that says that the production of this chemical from this German company is a national defense priority.”
“And we know why they’re doing that.”
“It’s to keep them from having any liability.”
“This is wrong.”
“We shouldn’t succumb to the lobbyists, not in the executive branch, not in the judicial branch, and certainly not here in Congress.”

He stretched out his arms like Christ on the Cross.
The firing squad aimed. His last words were also: “¡Viva Cristo Rey!”
The government photographed his execution to scare the people. It backfired.
Father Miguel Pro was a Jesuit spy for God. During the persecution in Mexico, he used elaborate disguises, dressing as a mechanic, a beggar, or a wealthy businessman, to sneak into homes and administer the Sacraments.
When they finally caught him in 1927, the government wanted to make an example of him. They invited the press to photograph his execution, believing that seeing a priest die would terrify the rebels into submission.
Miguel Pro refused the blindfold. He asked for a moment to pray, then stood up and stretched his arms out in the shape of the Cross.
Before the order to fire was given, he shouted in a steady voice: "¡Viva Cristo Rey!" (Long Live Christ the King).
The government published the photos in the newspapers the next day to crush the spirit of the Cristeros.
It was a fatal mistake. The people didn't see a dead criminal. They saw a Martyr. They cut the photos out of the papers and treated them like holy relics, fueling the fire of the revolution.

I wanted a baby so badly.
We conceived on our wedding night.
At our anatomy scan at 20 weeks we got the bad news:
I had placenta previa. I was put on modified bed rest.
At 22 weeks I had massive bleed and I was rushed by ambulance in the middle of the night in a snow storm up to Rochester.
The NICU team came in and explained what would happen to the baby if they did an emergency C section that early.
The bleeding stopped and I went home a few days later.
A couple weeks later I was back in the hospital with another bleed. Then sent back home.
On my third bleed they discovered the placenta moved but it divided itself in half. The condition turned into vasa previa, which is very dangerous.
I was admitted to the hospital where I stayed for the rest of the pregnancy.
They warned me about complications and problems that my baby might have as a result of coming early.
I prayed and prayed and prayed.
They did a C section at 35 weeks. My baby was born perfectly healthy. He didn’t spend a second in the NICU.
During the C section I lost a lot of blood. Almost two litres. At one point I felt myself slipping away. My blood pressure bottomed out. My heart rate was erratic. I was vomitting and aspirating on my vomit.
The busy and loud operating room went silent.
I thought, “this is it. I’m about to die.”
A warm white light came over me and I prayed to Jesus and to Our Blessed Mother to intercede for me.
Next thing I knew I was back. The doctors started talking again. My husband sighed audibly. The anaesthesiologist who was monitoring my vitals said, “we got her.”
A few minutes later I was all stitched up.
Before leaving the OR the surgeon showed me the placenta. It was so covered in lesions it looked like ground beef. The surgeon said it was also embedded too deeply in my uterus, and I lost a lot of blood when they removed it.
As they wheeled me out of the operating room to recovery I thanked them for keeping me alive, and I was greeted at my recovery room by a priest was there to baptise my baby.
That little baby turned one year old yesterday.
So yes. Prayer has “worked” for me.

Be completely honest. Has prayer ever genuinely 'worked' for you?
