Can you use cold email to book calls with big businesses? For my money, it's one of the *best* ways to do it. We ran a campaign for a client that began last Halloween (not the easiest time to start outbound!), yet still booked 30+ calls with mostly enterprise companies. 🧵

@kylamb8 @ComputerSageJAB @LakesFirearmsTr @GovRonDeSantis You don’t know whether she was conducting business or not, or discussing her job or not, or discussing what she intended to do or offered to do for him in her job. We haven’t read her texts to know that. You shouldn’t demand possible public records be destroyed…

@ChristinaPushaw Shitty deal, but way to own this. Have always admired you - your cold email to DeSantis to get you started, to the thousands of smart and measured posts in his defense, etc. - you’ll be OK.

I am fine with whatever fate awaits me. If this catastrophic error of judgement makes me unemployable, so be it. I made a mistake. I admitted to it. I want to make it right, and if that means never working in politics again, it's a consequence I am ready to accept.
Peter Schorsch@PeterSchorschFL

There is no greater cancer on Florida politics than this interloper, @ChristinaPushaw. That she has to put out this kind of insane statement is proof of that. She will be gone the day @RonDeSantis is booted from the Governor’s Mansion and she will be unemployable by any reputable comms or lobbying firm. In the meantime, enjoy the fucking car wreck that is her life.

I was hospitalized after visiting a WeWork in San Francisco last week Was visiting for a conference and decided to work from there I sat down at a table and within minutes I was surrounded by loud and obnoxious Americans "Let's circle back guys" "Bro let's lock in" "This doesn't move the needle" My hands started shaking and my vision went blurry This was the worst panic attack of my life I ran to the wellness room and meditated for 45 minutes listening to the European Union anthem When I came out WeWork staff asked if I was okay "No, I'm not. I need to get to the hospital" I said The staff reached for the phone to call 911 "Don't you dare" I screamed "I would rather die than be treated by American healthcare" I went to the airport and got on the first Lufthansa flight back to Germany When I landed in Munich I kissed the ground Went straight to hospital where the doctor saw me after only 6 hours of waiting Said I had severe anxiety triggered by toxic work culture exposure Prescribed me three weeks medical leave, fully paid This is the difference between civilization and whatever America is doing Never going back to the US

@JohnFlyover @davereaboi No chance. Why would he untether himself from an opportunity to have real influence in the White House? Vance is his only play.

We’re well beyond parody from Tucker Carlson’s newsletter today—as he cheers the Qatari royal family’s injection of billions into American classrooms. Instead, we should be concerned with the American citizens who donate to AIPAC. Carlson doesn’t see the obvious difference between the two, as he doesn’t consider Jews who support Israel to be Americans.

Please provide a single example of any person in Florida being “censored for free speech.” Not what your vibes are about a law you clearly don’t understand. Actual examples.
Fugitive Caesar@ThomBrady5

@bonchieredstate American politicians shouldn't fly to foreign countries to sign legislation censoring the free speech of American citizens (antisemitism). This is terrible optics and it deserves to be ridiculed. We are the American Empire, we don't take orders from our vassal states.

Doubt either can. The big issue heading into 2028: Vance is, as of now, the prohibitive favorite, and he’s tight as can be with Tucker. If Vance becomes the nominee, all the good work that people like you did to hold Tucker to account will be all for naught. Tucker and Grandma Groyper seem to be on their heels today, but if Vance gets the conch in the 2028, they’ll have the last laugh. That’s Tucker and Megyn Kelly calculus: they’re betting on Vance, who is the runaway favorite.

@RubinReport Given how closely aligned Tucker is with Vance - barring a split there - things could work out very well for Tucker if Vance becomes the 2028 nominee. Yikes.

On Tucker and Megyn... Something hit me last night outside of their obvious descent into conspiracy riddled madness and endless chase for every last click. Both of them came from mainstream media and are still relatively new to the online world. This isn’t the place they wanted to be, rather it’s the place they were banished to. They come from the cutthroat mainstream world which only cares about views and egos. So their behavior in this ecosystem is just replicating that. They love the feuds, the quest for ratings, the little lies, the backstabbing, because that’s all they knew from their previous lives. The online word was built by people who forged trusted audiences over long periods of time. Not people who were just given a flashy set, smacked with a lot of makeup and sat behind high contrast lighting and a shiny desk. Trust and authenticity is the key in this world, but that’s not the world they come from. Tucker was going down this path for awhile, and Megyn saw clicks and attention so dove in. As their ship sinks, they’re gripping onto each other like Rose and Jack at the end of Titanic. Their former mainstream colleagues have lost respect for them, and they’ve chosen to spit in the faces of the new media people who they think they’re better than. As they float in the icy waters of conspiracy and clicks, it’s important to note they never wanted to be in this space to begin with. They genuinely think they’re better than everyone else in the game because of their names, but that doesn’t fly in the online world. On cable news you can lie to your audience over and over, and they’ll just keep tuning in because it’s all they know. In the online world people will wisen up and find better choices. They have chosen each other. We’ll see how that works out for them…

Megyn Kelly only points out Israel as a possible actor in Charlie's murder, but doesn't have any questions about Muslim nations when Charlie was publicly declaring that Islam was not compatible with the West She has an agenda all facts and reason be damned
Bonchie@bonchieredstate

Kelly: “I am sick of this ********! I am allowed to have questions about what if, anyone, aligned with Israel or from Israel might have had to do with Charlie's death.” She’s gone, folks. Stop giving her the benefit of the doubt.

@mattgaetz DeSantis divested from everything he had before entering Congress, no? He owned zero equities while he was a Congressman. And what’s with this “we” stuff? What did *you* ever do in Congress before ducking an ethics compliant after you preyed on teenage girls, @mattgaetz?

On the one hand, you have the most successful conservative governor in history, who didn’t trade stocks or even take his pension from Congress. On the other hand, you have a guy who quit to try to stop an ethics report from coming out. Real mystery who the warrior is here.
Matt Gaetz@mattgaetz

We welcome Gov Desantis to this battle. I don’t recall him being so enthusiastic about the matter while actually in Congress. But we welcome him regardless.
