Today I was driving through the southside of Chicago and stopped at Ricobene’s, a legendary Italian beef and pizza joint. I noticed a sign of the store next-door and wandered in. They had cages filled with live poultry. Chicken, ducks, geese, turkeys game, hens. You could buy it live and take it home or they would dispatch it for you. who knew?

There’s a deleted scene where Vader finds out Jerjerrod is meeting with the Emperor before he does, and he just absolutely throws a fit, to the point of the Emperor’s guards drawing their weapons on him. Vader absolutely knows that he’s getting a pink slip at the end of the movie

Something that makes this scene interesting is that Vader hates the Death Star and wants it to fail, but the Emperor loves it, and therefore loves whoever is running it. Moff Jerjerrod is terrified here but has no need to be. Vader’s just being an asshole.

Landed at midnight and the roads were filled with pickups packed like clown cars with the working class on their LONG daily commute through customs into Malaysia. @keneech To pivot to new forms of value. Many trying to propose energy as the value determinant. Many also expect AI to be commoditized. Also keep in mind rate of profit falls over time, margins will get even more compressed and consolidation will continue for capital survival.
