So many things about AI infra and AI adoption today reminds me of Cloud adoption in the 2010s. Cloud is assumed to decrease business costs but later can start to actually increase it; has a years-long adoption + integration curve; the biggest winners are closer to the infra than not; it becomes a v large expense at companies to plan + budget for; customers don’t care if a company uses cloud/AI behind the scenes etc

Had a “wow” moment with Suno: creating a hyper-personalized song for my kids, with the theme being our vacation adventures. Epic hit. At the same time, I cannot see myself using the app beyond this one-off neat party trick, nor listening to music that *others* generate with AI.

Alright Anthropic, OpenAI: I need APIs that give me usage data. Granular. Per user. I need this in the same way its provided by every other company for all of time. What I dont want: "heres a $100,000 line vague line item of token spend".

Fun fact - if you have a recent commit that mentions OpenClaw in a json blob, Claude Code will either refuse your request or bill you extra money. This is an empty repo, I'm just calling Claude Code directly. Insanity.
