Unfortunately, our cities lack a clear vision, and pedestrian rights are the most ignored. I can’t think of a single city where walking is truly pleasurable. Even walkers-only Pondy Bazaar has been hijacked by bike bros.

@Udhaystalin @chennaicorp @CMOTamilnadu Can we please have such walkable footpaths in Chennai and other cities of TN? At least have a goal to have 5 such encroachment free footpaths in 5 cities to start with by the end of 2026. Tamilnadu deserves this basic necessity
